This is so wrong on so many levels...  :D but this story is full of SPAGs its like Autocorrect gone wild...  :D

I'm sitting here with my head tilted all "Sammy want ball ball?"-like trying to figure out word they meant to use. I write a lot of smut on my iPhone, which has Satan's Autocorrect on it, but I've never had it do anything like that. (Once, it turned a certain female body part into Debussy-very Twilight appropriate, yes/yes? :D)

I've just started Seventeen Cakes by vanessarae.  It is based in H/S so, I'll have to see how it goes.  I am leery of H/S fics as they always come across as immature and too much drama - or is that just me?   ;D

Long time no hear - welcome back!

Have you been up to anything interesting or just working?
Just working unfortunately, and a long weekend of work in front of me.  Been doing extra hours last week and no day off until Tuesday next week.  Have been on for quick looks, but didn't have time to do much more than want to sit and talk to you.  Got some time off at end of April, so should be on more then.  I missed you all, but RL gets in the way.  Example, I have only been home for half an hour now, but wanted to say hello. :)

Does it count as H/S if a character, say a vampire hybrid, can't age past 17 and is still in her senior year because she's legally required to be; but another character, say the first vampire in existence, is older and merely enrolls to get closer (proximity-wise) to Bella said hybrid? ;)

The thing that gets me about H/S fics is the sex they have at 16/17! So wrong, and not something I want to read ever. Besides, whenever there's sex in a H/S fic, I always wait for the teen pregnancy storyline.

thats so true.
None of my friends were having regular sex on HS.
im not sure about senior year, because i finished it in England. But still, we only knew about a couple of girls.

Correct, I will get the time back and extra pay.  Also correct about the teen sex, sorry but eww.  I like lemons, but prefer the adult kind.  Which reminds me, I saw a new story mentioned, so even though it's not my kind of thing I snuck off to have a look!  Seems you made a lot of people very happy with customsward.  So, I was wondering, where's my Jasper fix??? ;D

I don't read many H/S fics, because you are right, often it is immature, too much drama and too often too much mindless sex. If the highschool life is the front plot, I don't read it because I can't relate to that. My school experience was very different. There are just too much teenage angst rules I don't get and many teenage stories are using very obvious clichees, putting the students in those ridiculous groups.  Edward is the player or the geek, Bella is the tortured outsider or booknerd etc... They are never just normal people.

But there were stories I liked a lot, like Fourteen for example.

I can go change Edward's name to Jasper and send the amended version to you? ;) I did have a sweet idea for a Jasper/Bella fic, though when I get time to write it is anyone's guess. I promise you'll be the first to know if it does happen, though! I'll be counting on you to shield me from all the non-canon haters.
