I can go change Edward's name to Jasper and send the amended version to you? I did have a sweet idea for a Jasper/Bella fic, though when I get time to write it is anyone's guess. I promise you'll be the first to know if it does happen, though! I'll be counting on you to shield me from all the non-canon haters.

I'd love to read any non-canon ideas you write!

I don't mind the pairing, I just hope the characters fit...

Of course, love. Smut was meant to be shared. Here's tentative summaries for what I've got in the works.

En Tempus [Insert correct Latin verb for "There is change." Still working on conjugating this bit.]

Summary: Seven years ago, Bella's father committed a crime that left her broken and haunted. Now, the one man her father feared is seeking penance for that sin. When faced with the power of the first vampire in existence, can the first human-vampire hybrid save herself with only her body to offer? And will he surrender his heart when it's all she asks him to give? "In our pasts there is pain, but in time, there is change."

Untitled [But probably something to do with the words "Crimson" and/or "Passion"]

Summary: At 22 years of age, Bella is bored with intern hookups and bad one-night-stands. So she joins a sexual game known as "Blightsight". In order to participate, Bella must be deprived of her sight and hearing and surrender herself completely to her Claimer. This world of erotica enthralls Bella until she meets Edward, who may just be the man of her dreams. The choice between passion and permanence was never easy to make. "Falling in love by daylight and becoming infatuated in the dark are not the same thing, Bella"

In all seriousness, though, you guys have a point. H/S smut is creepy. Plus no 17 year old girl would have any of the bedroom skills Hybrid!Bella has.

I so want to read this but there are (of course) a million other things to do first. I hate reading snippets of fics here and there - if I'm going to read, I want to read it all

One quick question - does it have abuse in it? The summary made me think maybe it did, and I'm not sure if I want to read that.

The non canon haters already have 3 stories from you about Edward, so it must be our turn! Besides, I can think of 7 others on here besides myself who all love non canon. We are a patient bunch, us Jasper lovers, so when you have time, a story from a good writer will be appreciated.

I did it! I finished Quiet Storm and did not kill anyone in the process. The characters grew to be tolerable, but that may be because I became numb to their whining and histrionics. I never did reach the point where I liked them.

Of course, to give myself a break I started to read This is Who I Am by pattyrose (complete) and, *horrors* her current WIP, The Cullen Legacy (which I'm loving, even if I think Bella's reasoning is seriously flawed). I also started Stolen by Rochelle Allison. I have loved everything I've read of hers.

I need to take a break and read Lauren's Nothing to Declare. I have it open on my computer, but haven't delved into it yet.

I loved this one. There is abuse but, it is not sexual.

thats so true.
None of my friends were having regular sex on HS.
im not sure about senior year, because i finished it in England. But still, we only knew about a couple of girls.

When my niece was 15, she was telling me some of her friends had been having sex since they were 13 or 14. They were living in Marin County at the time - it's an area with a mix of rich families and hippies. Well, the parents were hippies in the sixties and seventies. My niece thought her friends were a little crazy to have sex so young thank goodness.

I know that age of consent is younger here but, I don't think 13 is old enough to deal with the emotions involved in a sexual relationship.

I haven't read that series so can't recommend things similar, but I know a few of us here were just recently reading the Up in the Air Series by R.K.Lilley and enjoyed it. Definitely worth a try

it's basically, Romance/Humor.. Badass guy meets the girl he wants he sets out to win her. A little smut thrown in for good measure lmao..

I've just started Seventeen Cakes by vanessarae. It is based in H/S so, I'll have to see how it goes. I am leery of H/S fics as they always come across as immature and too much drama - or is that just me?

I LOVED Seventeen cakes!! I think because it was based on the movie Sixteen Candles. There was another good one called "Yeah, You" the was based on it too. I don't mind the funny or fluffy H.S. fics I'm not huge into angst. I will read just about any kind of fic if the summary interests me. For some reason wolf pack fics just don't appeal at all nor do Bella/Jake but just about anything else is okay.

I am finishing up Foul Territory this evening and I'm dying to read Customsward!!!!

If I don't make it back on before Sunday I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter. Enjoy!
