Yeah, that was weird. I clicked "Thank You" and nothing happened. So I clicked again - this is normal on my tablet that it doesn't pick up the first click - then there are 2 Thank Yous.

Wow, it really is a small world after all my Dad's from Thirsk and on of my many Brother in-laws and his family live in Bradford.

Bradford is about 15 miles from here. Thirsk is really pretty, it's the place where they filmed All Creatures Great and Small. Alf Wight (pen name James Herriot) lived and worked in Thirsk.

Um, I think United States comes after UK darn it. I did notice our flag was near the end of the line of flags. Sigh.

OK, now I have stopped laughing I can type. We are decimal as well, but it is still called £. I think the name originates from the pound weight, ie pound for pound. That's as much I know. I will never be able to look at a "pound" store again without thinking about this!!!

See, I figured the pound store was like our dollar stores - everything inside is a dollar.
