Thanks for clearing some facts!

When you are friends with the mom, I would try to let it go for the moment and wait a bit. Perhaps they play again together tomorrow as if nothing happened. Perhaps the other girl was told that same sentence over the weekend from other (perhaps older) kids? And she believed it and told it your daughter not to be mean but because she believed it is true?

You sound like a great mom and will do the exact right thing for your daughter.

The greatest gifts that we can give our children are tolerance and resilience.

I am reading a fic at the moment where Bella is a 26 year old virgin. She has been watching Edward for 4 years without speaking to him and he is apparently late twenties/early thirties and as good looking/interesting as usual.

They finally get together and when it come down to the talk - it turns out he is too!

Is this just me, or is this completely unrealistic.

I think it's probably because Edward was a 107 year old virgin in the books. A/H stories should not try to follow this, in my opinion anyway.

Definitely! Because no matter how long it's been for me, I won't ever bonk a 107 year old!!!

Omg that's horrendous! I'm sure they've seen other people kiss, even if it was actors in a movie but really?? It looked like they were chewing each other lol. Can you imagine how their "other" first kiss is gonna go? Ew. Why did I go there? Brain bleach anyone??

Probably goes back to the original Twilight. Though really, Bella was sure trying to lose it before the wedding.

I don't think she tried hard enough! If I had Edward on a bed, I'd be doing a lot more than just hitching my leg over his hip!

That's really sad I think what you did was great. My daughter (who is now 9) was only 7 years old and was eating a snack size chocolate bar when a couple of older girls who was maybe 12 or 13 started picking on her and told her to be careful because that piece of chocolate was gonna make her fat. My daughter came off the school bus crying her little eyes out because she was worried about getting fat. She was like this for a few weeks, always saying she wasn't hungry even for dinner. Mind you she's really thin and wears a size of the average 6 year old till now but not once did i tell her shes "skinny" or "thin" because i think too much emphasis is placed on body shape. I've never complained about my weight in front of her and when I joined the gym I told her it was because I wanted to be fit (again I didn't mention weight). She now knows that it doesn't matter what shape she or her friends are, the most important thing is being kind to one another.

I think you should all consider enrolling your children in my school! I need more parents who can actually parent!
