Really enjoyed this! Quite a promising writer we have in our midst. Story was so sweet and poignant, couldn't help but cry. And when an author's writing evokes these emotions from me, i know i've found another writer to follow.

Sorry to hear that you're not well Ella. Broken toes are the worst! I had a frozen chicken fall out of the freezer onto the top of my foot once - worst pain EVER!

My toes are sad today as well - my nail girl is out of my usual red and has given me the next closest thing - not quite Barbie pink, but pretty close. I think I won't be waiting my normal 6 weeks between pedicures this time!

Try some of the contest entries on FF.

I usually avoid one shots like the plague, but, having read a couple of the contest entries on FF, I have decided to read a few more.  The great thing about one shots is they leave you wanting more, not feeling depressed about a crappy ending.

I avoid them too...the feeling of wanting to read more it's the same of a WIP (note the use of the new term that I've learnd here ) not complete 

A good one shot finishes everything up nicely, so while the reader might want more, the story is told. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login writes wonderful one shots.

There are some absolutely amazing one shots. There are some that aren't so great, but you've only invested a short amount of time in it - not like a multi-chapter fic where you might take hours or days and then are still left wanting more.

WIPs are just evil. 

I don't even look at them until I see the little "Complete". The most evil of all is when a fic is marked complete, and then there is a sequel that is really the conclusion rather than the next part of the story...and the sequel never finishes!!!

I gave into temptation the other night and read what is written of Over the Fence by Edwards Eternal.  I am now waiting for the two part epi  to complete.   

I had been waiting for Caged by Savage7289 to complete before starting it.  Loopylo posted that it had completed, so, that's what I'll be reading next.
