Hi, sorry to interrupt, but who are the authors for the books you're thanking Lauren and Matron on? Nothing like a double rec to put on my TBR list.

And to vent a little...
I enjoyed reading MoU and UoEM amongst others (Tara Sue Me's trifecta), so I am attacking all the FSoG rec lists that sprouted up. I'm on the second of the Roquelaure/Anne Rice Beauty trilogy, and can I just say what a major disappointment so far. This is not a BDSM book, it's a forced sex slave book. MAJOR difference. I feel sorry for all those people who think it's the same thing. It's much closer to WinndSinger's The Red Line, but without any romance. And of course I'll read the third because I can't flounce. Ugh

Hi,

Knight and Play/Stay was written by Kitty French

Do read the Up in the Air trilogy of R.K. Lilley if you want something similar to FSoG. These 3 Lilley books were awesome!!!!

For those who have been using GR longer than I have I've got a question for you. I received a friend request and thinking it was someone from here I added them (cause really, who adds a random like me that doesnt have witty reviews?) After viewing her profile it turns out that its an author Dannika Dark. Should I not keep her as a friend or is that rude lol?

Well, the only friends I have at GR are from PTS and the authors that i love (Colleen Hoover, Olivia Cunning). why don't you try reading one of Dannika's books then decide if you want to be her friend or not. have not been in GR for very long but i think you can also unfriend people like in facebook. however, i think it would be more "cruel" if you unfriend them later on. So maybe its better to just don't act on the friend request yet until you've made a decision.  :)

Hi ladies,
It's been a few days since I've  said hi but I've been stalking you and kept up to date with what's going on. RL is kicking my butt. My mum and sister decided to holiday with another mum and daughter combo and since I live in her backyard I've had to look after dad and my brother - fun! I'm supposed to be getting ready to go to the littlies school athletic carnival but just can't find the strength being sick and all. At least I don't have to put up with my bitches-in-law on Family Friday Dinner. I'll cook for my dad and brother but the others can go fk themselves. Yes, I'm in a great mood.

Rickell, I've searched you and a few people have the same name so I'm posting the link to my profile so you can add me.

I never accept FR from authors unless it's someone I actually talk to, I hate being spammed to "buy my book!" Ugh!

I'm looking for a fanfic and I hope someone knows which one it is.

Bella was a Dom, Edward was her slave and Emmett was her submissive. She brought on Jasper as a sub, because Emmett was going to serve Rosalie. Edward ended up being in a car wreck and Bella realized her true feelings for him.

Anyone?

Yup, definitely will read more m/m stuff.  Will check out your fcking loved it shelf! Still cant get over how "ugly" the models are in the cover of Crossing Borders so it has put me off reading it.  :P

Am not really into paranormal/fantasy stuff so I won't be reading the Phoenix Pack anytime soon. the only werewolf stories i've read are from the original Twilight series. The twi fanfics i read are 98% human  :)

There's not a *lot* of "werewolfing" in the phoenix pack books, just a lot of really alpha dudes and women. I really enjoyed them, but I get it not being your thing.

Did you read Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay? I loved it, and Astro liked it too after I forced her to read it. It's the best book I've read in a long time. Here's the goodreads page: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

I think Lauren might be getting commision!  ;)

It is a good read. It was the first real book I have read in ages and I did like it - although I initially struggled with trying to align which character was Edward, Bella, Emmett, etc!

It has nothing to do with twific, but my brain kept going there!

Yet another site I never thought I would sign up for!

I joined as you keep recommending things off there.

I'm me, as usual, if you want to find me.

I agree with you.  Fifty and it's counterparts have created a dangerous mind-set for desperate/vulnerable women.

I think I have friended you - there were other Rickells, but I picked the one who wasn't from anywhere. The others were from the US.

Now I just need you to accept me, please!

I can't remember what I was going to say about her funky feet...

I got distracted by the boy's tongue action on that link! Look how he attacks that ice cream! Holy shit!

New Adult. So essentially, YA with sex.

Young Adults don't have sex?

Well, neither does this Old Adult!

Is there an OA genre? Of course not - who would want to read that!

I looked up 'older books' and the first result was 'Mental Wellness in Aging: Strengths-Based Approaches'. I'm not sure it'd be my first choice of genre, after that..

I keep doing this too. It's a little frustrating, but my first real book in ages was Club Shadowlands by Cherise Sinclair and the main characters include Jessica with bouncers Sam and Jacob and a bartender named Cullen. Go figure!
