Hi, just finished this and thought it was sweet, but no real plot. A simple HEA. Just prior I finished Counselor's My Wounded Soldier and really enjoyed that.

Definitely, or maybe "defiantly" would be more appropriate. I started this Fic but just could not get into it. I was hoping for insight, oh well, I'll poke around for something else to read.

I just noticed she updated her profile on ff.net to say she's pulling everything and moving to TWCS, so if you want her fics, you'd better get them now. She was editing them to make more PG, but she must have given up on that.

Thanks for this rec. Got me out of my fanfic slump. I liked it too and can sooo relate to the story. Though am not a SAHM, having kids and both of you working does put a couple's relationship in the back burner with the kids being the priority.

On that note, its Sunday May 12 here so to all the mothers here

I really want a special day when I get showered with gifts and someone makes me soggy toast and cold tea!
I don't even get Teacher's Day because I have to organise the celebrations for the teachers in my school!

But to all the Mums here, you have the hardest job there is - and with no holidays or overtime. I hope you all have a special day!

I seem to be going through a theme as last night i rewatched Easy A with Emma Watson. Have you guys seen It? Love her parents and her character has great lines, so witty/sarcastic/funny! Come to think of it Astro, i can imagine you talking that way

Having our usual Sunday lunch at my mom's place to celebrate. She likes sweets but she is diabetic, so sugar free cake or ice cream it will be. We have a 3 day weekend bec the election on Monday is a no-work holiday. so i get to sleep in late for an extra day! My son is not much of an artist so he said instead of a card or drawing, he asked money from his dad to buy me potato chips... My son knows me well....

Anyone else remember the significance of May 13? Aside for it being my son's 10th bday, its rob's 27th!! That big age gap doesn't appear so daunting the older he gets LOL.

So in reality, Mother's Day and Father's Day are special days to say "Congratulations! You had unprotected sex!"

I love anything by TheFicChick and I love Easy A, but it's not Emma Watson - it's Emma Stone. Emma Watson is the Harry Potter girl.

Emma Stone is also in Crazy Stupid Love, with The Gos, and there are plenty of great lines in that movie too. They are both also in Gangster Squad - which I am still to watch! - but I have a feeling there won't be the same level of humour in that one.

Oh, the chips were definitely for me as i am a junk food addict! He knows i shouldn't eat them bec i get allergic reactions from all the artificial stuff/spices. This is why he is giving me a "free pass" bec otherwise my husband wouldn't allow me to buy junk food

i did get the connection error message from PTS. Scared me it was another attack on the site.

I saw a portion of Crazy Stupid Love in HBO last night which prompted me to decide to rewatch it (my husband owns the remote). But i noticed easy A was in my ipad as well so i watched that instead. Specially since i had great timing and saw the bar scene up to their bed scene (that dirty dancing scene is funny, more so when she said "seriously?! Is that photo shopped?") which already satisfied my need to see Gos' perfect abs (not super defined, just perfect!). Tonight i will rewatch Crazy Stupid Love.

Havent seen gangster mob yet, good you reminded me about it.

I've actually been pulling her stuff (TrueEnglishRose) from TWCS for a while now. You get pretty pictures on the cover with Calibre

It all seems up to date, which has been one thing I didn't like about TWCS most of the time. Usually they update one but not the other.

Astro, you are the biggest mother of us all, despite that spinster comment. How many kids do you mother in that "Bedlam Palace" you call a school. We have our own to deal with and you have all of ours and them some 5 days a week for more "awake" hours than we do. So from all of us we thank you, sending virtual soggy toast and cold tea your way.
