Astro, you are the biggest mother of us all, despite that spinster comment. How many kids do you mother in that "Bedlam Palace" you call a school. We have our own to deal with and you have all of ours and them some 5 days a week for more "awake" hours than we do. So from all of us we thank you, sending virtual soggy toast and cold tea your way.

Does anyone have the COMPLETE version of Buried Amongst The Begonias by DurtyNelly. I have chapters 1-21 part 1 but I know she kept writing up to chapter 23. I really really want to be able to finish this fic. Does anyone have it by any chance? Please help me find it!!!!

DurtyNelly has not completed Buried Amongst the Begonias, so unfortunately, there is no complete version to find.

I'm in the middle of reading Dodge and Burn by abstractway and I'm really impressed with it so far.  I like Edward, I like Bella and I like Jacob.

I will be particularly grateful for Mother's Day this year.  My sons and I were in a car accident last night.  I was rear-ended on a highway, and miraculously, no one in either car was hurt.  My car is probably headed to the junk heap, but I don't care, because the accident could have been so much worse. Be safe out there on the roads!

Sorry to hear that.  Car accidents, whether or not you are actually hurt, are still a big pain and very stressful.  Though I am really glad you weren't hurt.

I've had Dodge and Burn on my TBR list for a while - didn't she recently (um in the last few months) complete this?

I'll have to move it up!   

SavvyB was going to write an ending but then she had computer problems. 
The most complete version I have is also only 21 chapters.  And the last I heard, DurtyNelly is not planning on finishing it any time soon due to RL issues.

My copy also only has 21, which was all that was posted on her blog, I believe. I remember at one point there was some mention that there were only 2 chapters left - perhaps that is where the talk of 23 chapters is coming from.

I miss SavvyB.



I hope she doesn't think we only want her for her writing!

Thanks, I am still emotionally out of it.  I think my mind has not completely un-numbed from the shock of it.  I keep waiting to break down and get all the emotions out, but it hasn't happened yet. 

Dodge and Burn did just complete a couple of months ago.  This is the first story of hers that I've read, although Animate Me is the one that got a lot of attention.  But I'm really enjoying it.

I think she did Work of Art, which I loved.  A little angsty.  Edward has issues, some of which really annoy Bella.  But it was good.  I didn't like the fact she was also semi dating James.  But to be fair, no one was really making any commitments at that time.

If this is "worse for wear" then I need to invest in some body size paper bags! The boy looks awfully good to me.

I would kill to look this good at 2:30am! When I'm heading home at 2:30, I usually can't even see my phone, let alone be texting on it.

And I might now grow a beard - if I had my photo taken at that angle, the beard would hide my extra chins.

These people clearly don't know "worse for wear". Worse for wear is what I looked like on Friday after spending the entire week in the library from 8am till midnight. On the plus side, once we all handed our essays in we went out and got massive banana splits. And then I slept for 13 hours straight, and got up to do some more work... Ah, the life of an honours student...

Why haven't I seen this before ?

So I'm mostly commenting so we can see the picture again.
