Here's another question for you, Booked. Did we talk about your sex-crazed turtles on twitter this week? I swear we did, but when I went back to see if the pictures were right-way-round there, I can't find any mention of it!

After my super weird Lauren/Rupert/Nutella dream on Thursday night, and now this, I'm really questioning my sanity!

ETD: Phew! Found it - I was getting worried! But even there, the pic is upside down!

Hahaha! Fixed it! Fired up my jurassic PC and flipped the picture and posted the correct one.

Why didn't you tell me it was upside down then! LOL! I told you girls they were weird the other day and often are on top of each other. finally caught them again when I was having lunch today so had to show you.

Lots of Tia Maria, which I don't usually drink, but it was really cold and rainy on Thursday, and I needed a drink, but I needed something warm, so that meant a coffee and Tia Maria.

Maybe the ipad was upside down when i took it but when i view it it is always right side up. When i used tinypic, I didn't notice it was upside down either. All your posts, quoting my original posts showed me it was right side up. Only when i looked at it in my PC after showing me the screenshot did I see it was upside down.

Go edit your other posts quoting my wrong upload and delete the pic so it is not confusing...my head hurt looking at it in my PC.

Seriously, how else can I explain why Turtle 1 is always on top of the other? I envy their drive... should i expect little turtles soon? How long does it take for them to hatch an egg and give birth to one? Now, how am I going to explain that to my son if it does happen?! Birds and the bees won't apply. So turtle and the egg??!!

Seriously, how else can I explain why Turtle 1 is always on top of the other? I envy their drive... should i expect little turtles soon? How long does it take for them to hatch an egg and give birth to one? Now, how am I going to explain that to my son if it does happen!

Seriously though, animal reproduction is the perfect way to talk about sex with kids. It's perfectly natural and kids actually do understand it, without getting silly and giggly as they can tend to do when "sex" is talked about. Just keep calm and low key - kids can pick up when you're nervous or embarrassed like you wouldn't believe, and then take great delight in bringing it up as much as possible!

My 14 yr old laughs whenever she sees those two turtles in that position. Had the "talk" with her already. We are now just trying to tell my 10yr old one of his pets is a bully and he shouldn't be like him. But since they have no other friends but each other, they just have fun playing around this way...

Have to go out for a bit. Going to the parlor to tame my mess of hair. Having dinner and drinks with hubs and his HS friends and wives again. Another great excuse to drink a lot.

I had high hopes for this, but I flounced 3/4 chapters in. Bella is a spoilt high-schooler and Edward is 'possessive' in the sense that he tells Bella he's hers - even though he's 28 with a 6 year old daughter and Bella's 18, so they can't date all. Possessive in this case seems to mean asshole

Hi ladies! I finished Alphabet Weekends and A Pound of Flesh and really really liked them both! (I thought PoF was SO much better than CIWA. Still stuck at 75% on CIWA)

I am trying to figure out what to read next... Was thinking about reading The Real Life of E.A. Masen. How much of this book is just about raising teenagers? I read the first couple of chapters and it was mostly things that were going on with his kids. Is that the main focus of the book? I get enough of that in real life so might need to pick something different. LOL

Darn it! Moves another down the TBR list.

I'm so glad I'm not as OCD as Astro. I loaded all these stories on my kindle that sounded good at the time. But I can't find anything to read! I finished A Slow Boil by kts. It's a sweet story. No real drama. Edward starts out a little demanding and you're thinking "oooo Fifty" but turns out he's not. I would rec it for a light read.

Yes and no. Kids are teens so there is a lot of real life stuff. But mostly, it was so funny. Like watching a sitcom. It is so funny I was laughing out loud while reading. And I'm usually a quiet reader.

I have read what was written a couple of months ago. I didn't knew it was finally finished. I liked it but I do tend to like darker stories. It wasn't always easy to follow the plot line and sometimes the characters are difficult to understand, but overall I found it to be ok.

Yeah, I flounced that author. I tried reading another one of her fics, it was bad.
