I think it's meant to paint the picture of inhaling the wine, but is just not well-written.

And perhaps a little crackfick about Bella, Vampward and their "funtimes" with their own sparkly Cup during "those times of the months"? Title could be "Breakfast at Bella's" or "Shots for Vamps"... (those diva cup talks invaded my dreams...)

Good morning!
Did you like the published version? I really liked the fanfic, but couldn't get into the book. Somehow the style felt different, the jokes more forced... don't know...

I enjoyed part one a whole lot, but part two kinda had that forced funny feeling, which us why I never read part three.

So I used to not understand how you ladies could forget which fanfics you've read but now I'm beginning to see... I've been sucked into a vortex of good fanfics and I think I already lost count! (and i just started reading fanfic recently)

Thanks to the recent recommendations for something lighter (than FaN/OUaS) to read, I started reading Words with Friends (and WWS). I hadn't planned on reading it because I like to alternate my fanfic with "real" books so that I don't get my Edwards confused in my head... well, I read just one chapter of WWF and it had me hooked. It was a tiny bit confusing to keep up with the emails vs the WWF and EPOV and BPOV etc, but so very worth it so far. Looks like this one is quite long too... I'm at the part where

I can't criticise mistakes like that one, as I've managed to write Edward with about 4 hands before - 2 in his hair, and then 2 by his knees. Not sure he'd be quite so dreamy then

I was just wondering the same thing... at first I thought it had to be one of those stories where you thought "That was MESSED UP, were they on crack?" but as a figure of speech, not literally. LOL BUt now after Octoward, I'm guessing maybe its because it cracks you up laughing?

Will do . I was also hesitant about the free pass concept (no way in hell will i allow my boyfriend, fiance or husband to even kiss someone else) but will try to keep an open mind when i continue reading tonight. It is fiction and i may tend to live vicariously through these books Just hope the author handles it well or I might be tempted to flounce.

Well, I did tell hubs he could have a free pass with the Cordelia girl from Buffy if I could have one with RPattz. He was not happy.

OMG! It is someone misunderstanding a figure of speech I bet. I inhaled the glass of wine. Inhale usually means breathe in. But sometimes when we eat really quickly? We say we inhaled it. That is so funny.

Crackfics tend to be stupid funny. Like Aha Shake. Take the stereotype and up it a notch. But not quite to the point of parody. Which is where you make fun of everything.

I find a lot of the parodies are written by fanfic writers who don't actually like twilight. Since they don't know it they can't do it well. And crackfics have to be done carefully or they are just stupid. No funny to be found.

But if you find a good one of either? Really funny.
