Ugg, stupid Fifty Shades of Grey!!! apparently there's a rumor that Emma Watson is going to be Anastasia.... Bunch of crap if you ask me, I actually think that the idea of making that stupid book into a movie is ridiculous, but hey what do I know, people like it

Anyway, my name's Sam. ("Hi, Sam!") I'm relatively new to the Twilight/Twific world. (I literally just finished the books this past winter and am finally starting on the movies.) I'm attempting to write some Twilight fanfiction, but it's not going well, so I won't link. (I'm turning 22 in a few weeks and haven't actually sat down to write anything since I was about 16. Getting back into the habit is slow going.) I'm starting my Twilight fanfiction ~~addiction~~ adventure with the extremely popular "Wide Awake". Anyone have suggestions on where to go from there?

Why are people so hooked on this bl**dy series. There are far better writers as far as I am concerned (Dariachenowith could give her a run for her money). As far as long multi chap bdsm fics are concerned I think Tara Sue Me is better. Just saying.

Remember when Motu just came out as a Fic? Everyone, well almost, we're enthralled with this story. I do like Motu, despite the spag issues. I see it as a love story, primarily, with a bdsm subplot. Our main character is flawed and the love of his life is there to help him overcome his "issues". When I first started reading ff Motu is what everyone was talking about. If you hadn't read it then it was a must read. I cannot tell you how long I looked for a copy of this Fic. It had everyone tuned in and turned on, I think.
Imagine this fervor unleashed upon an unsuspecting public as Fsog. It is a love story, with sexual undertones most of us looked down upon as depraved acts. Now it's being celebrated and accepted. It's new, exciting and a little taboo. Who would not like it. We in the fandom have had years to marinate and critique Motu. The readers of Fsog are just like us when we read Motu,mesmerized.
Now, the author is another subject. She leaves a bitter taste in your mouth that you want to scrub and swish till nothing's left. She bridged a gap between acceptable and unacceptable in the form of a love story that grabs you and holds on. Who could not love messed up Fifty?
That's my take on the matter.

I have to download Goblet of Fire and watch it again. I remember thinking how handsome Cedric was and was quite sad he died, knowing he won't appear in the franchise again.

Looks like he's not much of a modern dancer. And that little ashes clip made me want to shuTTer! Ewww so dorky there. Good thing he grew up to be such a hot hot hot MAN!! Who cares if he's not a good dancer, nobody should be perfect, he has too much going for him already it's not fair to us ladies' poor hearts.

Everything is better when it is deep fried! Everything except my skin and my arse! And maybe my heart!

I have actually found at least one thing that is not better deep fried. I know, it seems impossible, but it's true. When we have our annual rodeo, there are a gazillion things at the related carnival that are deep fried. They deep fry things you would never consider deep frying - snickers bars, twinkies, and oreo cookes, to name a few. A couple of years ago, my daughter and I decided to live on the wild side and try deep fried oreos. We like oreos and everything is better deep fried, right? Blech - not oreos. After that experience, I have not attempted deep fried snickers. And I don't like regular twinkies, so I'm not going near a deep fried one. Of course, I don't like okra unless it's fried, so maybe a fried twinkie would be good. Nah, still gonna pass. For the most party, I gave up fried foods in my 20s when I learned I have heart disease issues. I miss fried chicken!

Cannon is a large piece of artillery (i.e., a really big gun).

Canon means it follows the general rules of the original works (here in our addict world, the Twilight books).

I have a question for you Calibre using ladies.

1 - If I download it on my computer at home, can i access the books on any computer or even my Kindle Fire?

2 - I believe it converts files also. If this is correct, I am actually thinking of wiping my Kindle fire and doing all Mobi, Yes i know i might sound crazy for doing this.

right, i mentioned that before as well... i always see in my mind edward as the human cannon ball and bella lights the match...

and no, i dont want to start making my own spags, but everytime i press my shift button for capital letters my computer freezes for a minute. drives me crazy, so at the moment you will have to live with me writing that way until i figure something out....

another question, the lemons you read, how possible, believable etc should they be ? yes, that questionmark froze my computer again grrrrr...
sometimes i have problems to get the logistics straight, some things just dont seem possible, due to anatomy, height etc... if its written well, i dont care and just enjoy

but i just read a lemon where bella was performing a bj and while doing that down there she talked with the recipient in long, elaborate sentences without stopping to you know and always with her mouth full... so there, that made me laugh so hard just thinking how it would sound really if you would try that... nothing to try in your own bedroom, thats for sure

They kinda look the same but ours are about 30cm (11 inches) long, plus the stick. These look shorter.

And yes - my inner 11 yo boy is laughing again!

I had a feeling there would be a comment about the size of our dogs vs the size of your dogs.

Corndogs are just standard sized hotdogs. But one is usually enough for anyone.

Thanks for the advice. I've been drinking gingerale but forgot all the Ginger tea I have. Still looking for the container of Vicks may have to go buy some. But the maxipads in the cupboard work perfect!

On my phone so it's easier not to quote. With Calibre once you download it, it's on that computer only. You can't access from an external computer or your phone /kindle per se. However, if you plug your kindle into the computer, Caliban will recognize it and you can easily transfer stories back and forth between the two. And? You can put an awful lot of stories in a very little space with mobi. It will also automatically convert to mobi prior to adding it to your kindle.

Deep fried Twinkies are a total disappointment. Don't even bother. The cream filling melts & disappears.

Okay so I'm just going to say it FSoG/MOTU is not a BDSM story. Women wouldn't like it so much if it was I think. It is however very kinky. And well you just want to love Fifty because he's so broken. But it bugs me when people call it BDSM since I'm pretty sure she broke up with him because she didn't want that kind of a relationship. Okay. Thanks. Got that off my chest LOL!

I do wish I knew what happened with Icy though.
