What would happen if we just started giving each other thumbs down?

Lets rebel against it
 :D
LOL! Smite Wars!  That's how Ficfangirl got all her thumbs down.

Because there is no way anyone would thumbs down the creator of the INDEX!!!!!   :D :D :D :D :D

Don't worry, I have TWO and I'm not even sure why.  :-(    If I could erase one with a thumbs up I would give it to you!
Yeah, me too.

I gave you a thumbs up as well.  Only because I'm on the computer.  I don't go near those things otherwise.  My fingers aren't that small.   :P

I wouldn't mind Ian Sommerhalder.  I don't really do movies so I'm thinking I would probably not care anyway.  I still haven't watched the full BD2 - SAF is so annoying.  Maybe I will fast forward to all the RPattz parts.

My husband was watching Snow White and the Huntsman over the weekend on Showtime or whatever.  He likes movies.  I was reading but glanced up occasionally. I'm thinking she was fooling around with the director so she could have the role in the next movie.  Because really? She was awful.  Okay, I've seen worse.  But they are usually in B movies.

Isn't Fifty in his early to mid 20's?  So I can see how Alex gets in there.  He's okay.  Not my first choice but  not the worst I think.

I saw the last ten minutes of SWATH. Yeah....

I thought fifty was in his thirties?  I don't know

I'm currently re-reading Chance Encounter by Besotted as I was in the mood for Actorward.

I read this a long time ago but, don't remember Bella being such a whiny witch.  I feel like giving her a good shake!

I*think* I remember him being either 26 or 27. Definitely not in his 30s, because I remember everyone rolling their eyes at the 20something self made billionaire.

Hello to the lovely ladies of PTS - the Rob Pr0n edition!  8)  Popping in real quick while I have some free time and I'm about 80+ pages behind  :o  I'm just glad I made it back before thread #4 started!!

We're in post-prod, so I have some time to check in and hope everyone here is doing better than well.  Had a little email back & forth a few weeks ago with Booked to confirm some of my stats for some spreadsheet.  Is it completed yet?  Honestly, not sure I want to take a look because I know most of you ladies are blessed in the boobage dept, while I was left with unripened apricots on this puny chest of mine.  I've been in and out of the country periodically the last 5+ weeks, but thankfully, I wasn't stopped at the airports (domestic and international) this time asking where my "parents" or "guardian" were to my co-workers everlasting amusement.    :(

What have I been reading lately?  Unfortunately, not much, however I just started the wip Terroir by thimbles and it has kept me interested
Astro - E's an Aussie in this fic and pretty hot.  If the story doesn't take a radical left turn towards WTFville and go to shits or SPaG purgatory, then it should be one to keep on everyone's radar.

Isabella Swan uproots her life on a whim, moving halfway around the world in search of something more. Perhaps she will find what she's looking for in the neatly laid rows of Cullen Family Wines' Hunter Valley vineyard. Sometimes, it is the grafted vine that produces the more vigorous growth.

Lauren - I re-read TSAward while I was in the car heading for LAX (los angeles int'l airport) last month, hoping for some good luck mojo to get a good-looking TSA agent to do a stop and search.   >:D  Instead, I got a big. fat. nothing. wave through.  Although, the security agent doing the x-ray scans gave me a smirk and a wink after he scanned my bag like he knew something.  I've been wondering if he thought my clarisonic was a fake peen or vibrator.   I swear, it was my clarisonic! You know, the second thing that vibrates that I can't live without.  Hey y'all, take your mind out of the gutter! The first is my phone.  I promise.

Most of you know I'm not cuckoo for Rob's cocoa puffs, but I can't help thinking of you all whenever I hear his name mentioned at work.  It's gotten to the point where some of my staff think I want in his pants.   :sign0103:  As for SAF?  The funny thing is that I get asked quite frequently by family and friends about SAF and why she keeps landing all these various roles.  General consensus seems to be that she can't act.  I say, she can.... she's just not that good at it.  I wish I could say she's an anomaly in the industry, but no-talent/limited talent is nothing new in Hollywood.  I tell them that SAF's Aussie clone (Teresa Palmer) is much better on the acting front and is actually quite charming in person as well.  Now, speaking of clones, has anyone been watching Orphan Black?  I like....

Crap, gotta get back to work.   :sign0085:

I think SAF is a great actress. She gets all this men thinking that she is even worth ruining your marriage over it.....

I don't get all the hate about Stewart (that's who SAF is right?) I think that she is an average actress who had some potential before Twilight. Afterwards she was swallowed by "fame" too much publicity, she went way over her head. Too bad, because last time I saw her pro-twilight, I enjoyed her performance very much. (Btw, it was in Adventureland alongside Jesse Eisenberg).

Also, it is almost 1.30 am here and I just got a text to go out for a late coffee. Gotta love exams' period, everyone's clocks are going crazy! Catch you all tomorrow  :-*

Alex Pettyfer is about to become the object of lust for Fifty Shades of Grey fans everywhere, as HollywoodLife.com can EXCLUSIVELY reveal that he has been chosen to lead the big screen adaptation of the literary sensation.

Thoughts?
I read a few weeks a go he did a screen test for FsoG - I just don't see him as Christian.
For some reason I can only see my hubby #1 - Alex Skarsgard or Matt Bomer, which I know they are both too old for the part.  :(
I'm loving this mock up poster for 50 that's going around atm:

I just have to say that I don't get the hate towards Kristen either. I agree that I think she got swallowed by the whole Twilight-over-exposed fame thing and that damaged her credibility and what could probably have been a nice indie career.  She isn't a classically trained theater actress - in fact she has no training, but I think she is right for certain types of roles and I hope that she finds her niche now that she can let go of the stigma associated with it all.  I enjoyed SWATH, and I think she did an OK job - but I don't think she's the big-budget action movie type of star.  She needs small, character driven roles.  I would love to see her go to college or get some real acting training now that she has the time.  It's unfortunate that people hate her just because of who she dated, for being honest and saying what she thinks, for making a mistake any one of us could have also made in a moment of bad judgement, and that the fame she really doesn't seem to want stalks her on a daily basis.   I hope she finds herself and her place.   If that's acting, then more power to her.  If it's writing or directing or below the line, then that would be great too.

My dislike for her comes from the shi.tty things she says. "Can't wait for life to fuck me over".

I thought she was ok on the first twilight movie, but the other ones? Awful. Mouth breather and constipated Rob.

I don't think the Crossfire series started as fanfic...  at least I haven't heard it mentioned.   Though, I was shocked when I heard that Gabriel's Inferno & Gabriel's Redemption were fanfic.   If you haven't read those, you better do it!  He will forever be my favorite 'ward!

My husband reads a lot too but he's got nothing on how much I read...   I think if he had a Kindle he'd read more, but he's still resisting.   I resisted forever, but now I love my Kindle a little too much! <3

Glad you didn't think Depp was too far of a stretch for Christian...  I agree with Ella, he is much older.   Do you guys ever accidentally get some random person in your head as the lead character in one of your books?  Once you do, you just can't shake it.
I'm sure it was an accident!  We won't hold it against you. ;-)
Which Fic is Gabriel's Inferno/Redemption? Who is the author? I'm going to get those books as well. Yeah, JD is older but would be believable as 50. And you are right, I have cast 50 in my head and so far no one has come close enough.
Would anyone want to see RP as 50? Just seeing Cosmopolis makes me believe he could do it.

It was originally Sebastien Robichaud's The University of Edward Masen. It was good...

I don't "hate" her, I just dislike her attitude.  Also, she really ruined the Twilight pictures for me.  Well, she was fine in Twilight.  But Bella is supposed to want Edward and he is supposed to always stop the action because he is afraid of hurting her.  Every kissing scene, he does all the work,  She backs off.  It started to annoy me.  By the time we get to Breaking Dawn 1 - it got very annoying.  She also doesn't look like she is in love with Edward.  I don't know.  And supposedly she loves Rob.  So how hard is it to pretend you love your boyfriend on screen.  It really messed the movies up for me.

Then there was all the flipping off the photographers when she was on the promo tour.  Great way to promote a movie directed towards teens.  Though maybe they think it's cool.  At least Taylor and Rob were pleasant.  Just little things like that.

I don't get it.

Between the Twilight films & Snow White, I can't figure out if she's just an 'okay' actress or if it's something about how her character is cast. While Bella in the films has a teensy bit more depth than the books, her character is flat. There's not much one can do with either bad writing or editing. Snow White was beautifully filmed, but again it felt like her character wasn't developed. I couldn't figure out if that was Stewart or the editing/writing. I just saw the Runaways, and I thought she was better in that, but not great. I guess I'm still giving her the benefit of the doubt.

I think we go back to the whole maybe she isn't an actress for big production movies, or big roles. I know comparisons are not good but now that I've seen The Hunger Games I loved Jennifer Lawrence I think most of us picture her as Bella and she is so funny and simple in RL. I think that is something Stewart doesn't have I thought she was different; not like she is now. I would have to agree the fame of the Twilight franchise got to her, but we can't blame her entirely since she needed guidance to learn how to deal with it, but guess she didn't have that in her life
