I know! I mentioned a book!

I'll have to read middle march this semester. All 800 pages of it. Not looking forward to this semester book choices.

I did English literature as my degree...Wow! my lecturers would be so proud of my current reading material!  :D

Lol, don't worry - I will survive as I thrive on angst but I'm blaming bump as I turned into an emotional wreck after reading CaraNo's WPW.  :o :D
God she's gonna be a nightmare once she's born as I keep blaming her.  :D
And yes, I'm really liking it atm.

Well if the only craving you've had is for angsty fics I think you've gotten off lightly...

Wow. I'm so jealous now.

At least I get this English lit class here, which is a step up from a book club. The teacher is British, went to Oxford. Every semester we do one Shakespeare, a romance and a play. Sometimes that changes depending on the books length. Since middlemarch is so long we will only be doing that and Macbeth.

:)

Twifics Recomendations Sites

I hope I had taken my mother's advice and going to the UK for English Lit. Instead I stayed in Greece and studying greek philology (pretty close, but not the same.) But I also work part-time in a bookstore, so I can constantly be around all kinds of books! (My other part time job is at the local cinema. You can guess why :P)

Anyways, like pretty much everyone else, I am always looking for rec's (my TBR list is huge and I'll probably never find the courage to sort through it). I usually visit You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login , but not all of their recomendations leave me satisfied. I recently found a site called The Lit of Twi (You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login) Their list is much smaller, but seems better. Has anyone heard of it/ used it? Are their rec's "legit"?

Also, which sites do you use? (Besides PTS, duh!)

I just finished You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login and I'm dying from all the cute. It's SO sweet and Lily might be my favourite fanfic-child ever. Bella and Edward have both had their spouses die and Lily, Bella's daughter, brings them together in the most adorable way. It was that kind of writing where it's painfully good.

I'm LOVING this fic. This kid is adorable.

I thought this was good too.

I am reading Contextually Speaking by cosmogirl7481 at the moment.  I needed something light and fluffy.

So I finished reading Just Wait a couple days ago and started crying fom chapter two. My daughter developed a stutter at 3 1/2 and the description in chapter two with the blocks and repetitions is soooo accurate!! Reading how she described the stutter throughout the book made me feel like she was either a speech pathologist, a parent of a child who stutters or she has done her damn homework.  Either way, my heart felt like it was literally being squeezed and I just wanted to hug him so bad.      You are not allowed to view links. I don't understand why anyone would want to spend their wedding day constantly adjusting their dress.  Mine wasn't strapless.

Quick question - is anyone else having trouble accessing updates on ff.net?  I've tried clicking on links in my email alerts all day and all I get is the ff.net outdated URL/wait 15 minutes page.

Fairly sure strapless tops/dresses only work on women with small chests, otherwise the potential for nip slip gets crazy.
