Lauren, Lauren, Lauren...I thought we were buddies? You sent me a buddy request and I accepted. And then when I least expected it....yeah, the equivalent of a kick in the vejayjay! I worked out before work, first of my 30 days, felt fine, left my house, went into the office had two meetings, at the end of the last meeting, tried to get up off the sofa at a very swanky private members club and...couldn't! I fell back down into my seat like a geriatric, with a groan! The people I was with looked at me like I was nuts! Someone had to HELP ME! Jesus wept my rep may never recover as I'm not sure they believed my 30 Day Shred explanation..And tomorrow I'm expected to do it all over again...

Oh, my Lebanese Lover, I am right there with you, but so proud of you for committing! The workout is definitely getting easier - the recovery is not!

I am swapping the night workouts for morning ones because I am too stiff when I wake up. I think if I keep moving during the day, I might not be so sore. That means I have to be up at 4:30am - yes there is a 4:30am! - so I can shower and get to work on time but I prefer exercising in the morning anyway and it's meant to be better for you too.

And tomorrow, I am going to add a nice evening walk (on my Treadmill while I watch Season 1 of Spartacus) to my exercise routine! I very easily get addicted to things - once I get going with exercise, I have to be careful not to over train! I'm hoping a bout of glandular fever that turned into chronic fatigue 2 years ago will keep that under control for me.

Not-so-Big D and Astro, I told you! That workout will make muscles you didn't even know you had hurt! I genuinely almost cried trying to sit on the toilet the morning after as I just couldn't squat at all. Trying to do the workout that day nearly killed me, but Jillian's constant shouting made me carry on. It's worth it and I guess 20 minutes of sweating and flailing around is better than an hour on a treadmill!

I did briefly ponder on Monday morning if I could pee standing up...

I am laughing so hard now!  You don't have to do it again tomorrow you know.

I'm waiting to see what you all say at the end of 30 days.

Rickell! Shame on you! You're supposed to encourage and support us.

At the end of the 30 days, we will be svelte and sexy - and so fit that we will come and kick your arse for laughing at us!

I know I don't but then I'll feel like a quitter! If the LD and my Lebanese lover can do it...You should give it a go too Rickell   :P

Good for you! Us Lebanese Lovers need to stick together! We can do it!

I cannot WAIT to hear your reaction, I've been giggling at the thought of Demaris/Astro all day. I hope you have a serious sports bra, though, the woman running the video expects you to jump all about the shop! :D

After 4 days, I have finally perfected the formula!

Normal bra + sports bra + sports bra = no bounce - black eyes - concussion!

Am at a talk where we all schmooze and I feel like a flipping giant! Mostly women here, all under 5"4 or so. Seems to be the case in fanfic too - apart from Rosalie - now I'm thinking I'm just a beanstalk. Quick question - how tall is are you all?

No worries at all :peace: I am looking for a pre reader, I just haven't made my intentions known. I need to first sort out my laptop, which picked a lovely time to crash last week.  :-\

What I need most from a pre reader(s) is straightforward honesty, availability/flexibility and dedication. IA has been passed through several hands over the years, which was a wonderful learning experience for me at the time, but not one that I want to have repeated this go around. I'm determined to finish this since I made a solemn promise to my readers that I would. I need stability now more than ever. Hope that makes sense without sounding bitch-faced or demanding.

The offer is still there - although time zones can be a PITA! And I'm dedicated - once I start something, I don't quit! I've never beta'ed before, but you can count on me for brutally honest feedback. PM if you're interested - and when the 'puter is fixed!

I'm 171cm, so 5'6". As I've said before, I'm the third shortest of my family (or at least of those of us who are fully grown) after my mother and cousin. How tall are you Lauren?

It seems to me that everyone here has big boobs. Mine are so small, the only time I'm glad of this is with my horse riding, sports bras strap me down no problem. I want to try this 30 minute shred you're all whinging about, but I'm afraid if I lose any more weight I'll lose them completely. I'm already too skinny, need to muscle and fatten up a bit, maybe then I'll grow some boobs.

Eat your vegemite!

No...wait...vegemite will put HAIR on your chest - not boobage!

I think the Shred would work for toning instead of just weightloss.

Although I don't feel toned yet - it's more like rigor mortis!

And I'm off to bed - early torture session tomorrow!

I am massive! :P I'm just over 5"8, with the shoes I had on it was another couple of inches added to that. I had to sit down on a table so I didn't feel like everyone's parent!

30DS won't make you lose weight as long as you're making up for the calorie deficit by eating more, it'll just help you tone up (though if you do horse riding frequently you probably don't need to!) Have you tried protein shakes or something similar? They're good at building muscle, and you can buy women's versions which still keep a lean look.

Only 5'8"? Haha. In my family that is the small side of average! It's insanity. I can imagine with heels you'd be sky high though! I can't wear heels, or at least I don't really try. I stick to my riding boots! Ha.

I've got super toned legs and my tum is all right but have almost zero upper body strength. I mean, I can haul hay bales around and shove horses about but I can't lift my own body weight, which is pitiful, especially since I weigh about as much as a sack of feathers. The boys bench-press me as a warm-up!

I've used protein supplements before when I was running a lot but I still lost too much weight and had to stop, which makes me sad 'cause I love running. I can't seem to increase my intake enough to counteract the exercise I do, the milky based supplements make me feel ill, and at the moment I'm using high calorie juice supplements to boost my calories after riding. This is of course the lazy girls way of gaining weight but I can't physically eat much more than I do. My tummy isn't big enough, I need to suck it up and stuff myself silly, but then I just get ill. I think I'm gonna give it a go, maybe upping the exercise again will make me hungry.

Yay! A bosom buddy (pun totally intended  :D). I'm an 6 or 8 B/C cup, so 30/32 B/C depending on the brand. Expansion via sprogs is not an option for me; not ready for the little ankle-biters just yet.

I've thought about yoga. I think it would be good for increasing flexibility too, which is something I want, although I'm scared my old-lady knees won't be able to handle the pressure. Although I have a friend who does Bikram Yoga and swears by it, although the thought of yoga in a sauna kinda freaks me out...

This makes me giggle, I can just imagine someone asking where she gets her boobs from "Oh, I get my boobs from my dad"  :D :D :D

I got my eyebrows from my dad and my boobs from my mum. They're like fuzzy caterpillars. I have to wax them every 4 weeks like clockwork or I look like I have a small animal growing above my eyes. Thank-fully the rest of me is pretty much hair-free, I can easily go 8 to 10 weeks without waxing my legs or underarms. I guess there is a trade off everywhere...But if only it were the other way around eyebrows from mum and boobs from dad and I'd be set with a nice set of D cups and eyebrows that can't be seen from outer space.
