I lost a stone over the course of doing it, but I was also eating ~1400 calories per day and walking a lot so it was likely a combination of all those things. I think that 30DS will make you lose some weight but it's best at making you look like you've lost weight by streamlining your shape and building lean muscle. I'd be very suprised if you don't lose at least some weight, as long as you aren't eating a block of lard every night ;)

OK.That makes me feel a bit better! I'm in so much pain right now I don't think I could cope if the scales remained static, scales movement is motivating even if you don't really need to lose all that much weight....

Oh, my Lover! You don't even need to ask!

My thighs are still a little sore though - so there won't be much action tonight.
how many days have you been doing it now? Today was day 2; I wanted to cry this morning when I got out of bed, every bone in my body was saying "don't listen to them, you DO NOT have to do it everyday and you definitely CAN NOT do it TODAY", but I did because, it would seem, I'm a 30DS flounce p ussy as well :'(

Am off to find my hairdryer, and then improve young minds.

Thanks Ella,  I would love the MOBI stories.  I dont know if you have access to a quick list?  If not i will try to compile a list.
I should probably let you know I have thousands of stories, mostly in epub or mobi.  epub will convert to mobi easily, unlike pdf.  However, I don't know how good a lot of these stories are as I was downloading everything for a while there.  I kind of freaked out when stories started to disappear last year.  So it might be better if you give me a list or something.

Though let me see if I can zip them to my google drive.   I'm off tomorrow & I can play with it then ;)

Today is Day 5 - it does get better!

Thanks Ella! I'll play this weekend. I've been stubbornly dodging Calibre.

What?! Do not dodge Calibre it is a great system for hording/storing you fics..It gives you so many options for sorting. Thanks God I asked the 'how to store' question when I first started reading and Matron mentioned Calibre and send me great advise (forever grateful Matron!!) I now have all my Fics nicely stored, easy to find (you can sort by summaries) Ella introduced me to a couple of really good plugins, yeah Astro get 'calibrating' now!

Shoot! are you that many days in front of me? I thought I was only one day behind..

I know, I know that scales are the devil but when they're good ( going down) they're good, but when they're bad...phuck! I'll stop weighing, I promise.

Am at a talk where we all schmooze and I feel like a flipping giant! Mostly women here, all under 5"4 or so. Seems to be the case in fanfic too - apart from Rosalie - now I'm thinking I'm just a beanstalk. Quick question - how tall is are you all?

Team Beanstalk over here!  I'm 5' 11.5" without shoes and I still have to look up at many of my relatives.  All of my female friends are under 5' 5".  I stick out like a sore thumb away from my family.

I am 5'5, pretty average.

Has anyone here picked up the pubbed version of The Office (Beautiful Bastard) yet?

So far, what I've heard from folks who have read both is that BB waters it down a log. I've never read The Office, is it worth spending my time on? What's it even about?

Is this a Fic? or a real book as people on here say ( that cracks me up everytime i read that)?

I'm fed up now.  My Tivo box needs replacing again.

Hubby is p!ssed off as it keeps resetting whilst football is on - like it's my fault!

I have only just managed to get back all the films and series I lost last time it f*cked up.  The kids will be devastated again.

Sack of sh!t.

I read the office and don't remember it being that bad.  I tend to skip over the smexy parts as they get tedious after a while.

I'm really surprised by the title of the book though - obviously, it is for shock factor.

It's on my TBR list so I only know the summary:  Edward Cullen is a beautiful bastard; Bella Swan is his gorgeous assistant who can’t stand him. One night, everything changes. Welcome to the office. It’s time to get down to business.

Here's the link to the fic upload if you need it:  You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

I have now downloaded this.  I watched the vid and it does look deceptively easy.   Unfortunately,   :D I don't have any weights so I will need to buy some before commencing torture - I contemplated using two tins of beans but football took priority tonight!

Tin cans will do just as well; and I revise my advise of doing it at night, I think Astro is right do it in the morning as then your muscles continue to work during the day and don't get as stiff as if you did it at night and went straight to bed...Oh, phuck it! I doubt there is any perfect time to do 30DS it'll hurt when ever... :P

Yeah, I'm at the stage that if I never read another lemon ever again *shrug* I'm so over gratuitous lemons that aren't even written particularly well...We Still Linger Here had some nice lemons, but it's one in every ten fics that doesn't have me rolling my eyes in utter lemon boredom

I thought ours had died the other day & there are hours of stuff I haven't watched yet. Fortunately, I was able to reset it.  I'm trying to figure out how to get at the video and save it to another hard drive, but it doesn't seem like I can without opening it up.  Not sure if Verizon will like that LOL! :banghead:

i rarely read a lemon anymore. ive been reading fanfic since 2009. theres only so many ways to describe it.

i tend to read the first lemon of the fic, you know, first lemon after all the UST.
