Whaaa? That's 4 things....and I suppose you want me to do the situp too!

I'm not that co-ordinated! Shoot, I fell trying to get off a step ladder yesterday...this getting in shape is going to be tougher than I thought  ;D

No, really, I'll give it a try.  I used to do tons of those things when I was young and skinny...
Have you tried swimming? Great for toning and much easier on the muscles!

I had an eating disorder when I was younger and part of recovery is 'healthy living' - hence why I know so much rubbish about exercise and nutrition! Means I can cook pretty damn well, though  >:D

I'm so glad I'm no longer the only tall girl here (though 5"8 isn't that tall)! I was feeling outnumbered there :D All you little shorties - guess what they say about shrinking in old age is true ;)

Am at a talk where we all schmooze and I feel like a flipping giant! Mostly women here, all under 5"4 or so. Seems to be the case in fanfic too - apart from Rosalie - now I'm thinking I'm just a beanstalk. Quick question - how tall is are you all?

Well in my 20's I was 5'6", but after a few decades I am sure gravitation has worked it's ugly magic like it did my boobs and I would say 5'5" now. Boobs. Hell, I think I got them from my mom and my dad. I had a terrible time finding bra's in my 20's. I was a 32 DD. Now I have plumped up and wear a 36DD.

Geez it seems I am the only one not working out. There is absolutely no time in my day for that.

Besides.......

It is my job to nourish my body. It's hubby's job to work off the calories.

If I am too fat, it is HIS fault.

Happy VALENTINES everyone !!

Swimming...no, not for me. Too much chlorine, I can't breathe. I did just get an exercycle though. I have a bycycle, but the wind around here is so bad. Though if I stay in the housing area? I'm okay. At least it is mostly flat here. ;)

Only 5'8"? Haha. In my family that is the small side of average! It's insanity. I can imagine with heels you'd be sky high though! I can't wear heels, or at least I don't really try. I stick to my riding boots! Ha.

I've got super toned legs and my tum is all right but have almost zero upper body strength. I mean, I can haul hay bales around and shove horses about but I can't lift my own body weight, which is pitiful, especially since I weigh about as much as a sack of feathers. The boys bench-press me as a warm-up!

I've used protein supplements before when I was running a lot but I still lost too much weight and had to stop, which makes me sad 'cause I love running. I can't seem to increase my intake enough to counteract the exercise I do, the milky based supplements make me feel ill, and at the moment I'm using high calorie juice supplements to boost my calories after riding. This is of course the lazy girls way of gaining weight but I can't physically eat much more than I do. My tummy isn't big enough, I need to suck it up and stuff myself silly, but then I just get ill. I think I'm gonna give it a go, maybe upping the exercise again will make me hungry.

Yay! A bosom buddy (pun totally intended  :D). I'm an 6 or 8 B/C cup, so 30/32 B/C depending on the brand. Expansion via sprogs is not an option for me; not ready for the little ankle-biters just yet.

I've thought about yoga. I think it would be good for increasing flexibility too, which is something I want, although I'm scared my old-lady knees won't be able to handle the pressure. Although I have a friend who does Bikram Yoga and swears by it, although the thought of yoga in a sauna kinda freaks me out...

B/C cup?? My size A's are jealous of your B/C cup lol. Looks like I'm the leader of the Itty Bitty Titty Committee here lol

Hmm and Calibre is like a cloud drive i am assuming?  I wonder if Calibre will work on my kindle if I dl the app.  Sorry I am noob at this stuff.

I don't know if you got this answered? In any case, no, it's not a cloud drive (though I DO have mine linked to a cloud so every time I add a fic to my calibre library it's auto synced to the linked cloud) but a software program....an amazing program in my opinion. But once you install it on your computer you can purchase the app and then you'll have access to your library from your phone/tab.

If you have any other questions, shoot. I'm happy to help if it's needed :)

The offer is still there - although time zones can be a PITA! And I'm dedicated - once I start something, I don't quit! I've never beta'ed before, but you can count on me for brutally honest feedback. PM if you're interested - and when the 'puter is fixed!

Thank you so much for the offer, truly. :-* I will definitely keep you close in mind! Oh, and my time zone is central standard :)

Shoot! are you that many days in front of me? I thought I was only one day behind..

I know, I know that scales are the devil but when they're good ( going down) they're good, but when they're bad...phuck! I'll stop weighing, I promise.

Going down is always good!

Has anyone here picked up the pubbed version of The Office (Beautiful Bastard) yet?

So far, what I've heard from folks who have read both is that BB waters it down a log. I've never read The Office, is it worth spending my time on? What's it even about?

You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
It's on my TBR list so I only know the summary:  Edward Cullen is a beautiful bastard; Bella Swan is his gorgeous assistant who can’t stand him. One night, everything changes. Welcome to the office. It’s time to get down to business.

The Office in a nutshell:
Bella - not clumsy, wears power panties - Edward's assistant.
Edward - hot, wears power suits - Bella's boss.

Hate each other, then he rips her power panties, a good, hard root, hate each other, more rooting, he rips her power panties, she buys more, repeat a few times. Business trip away - more rooting, then feelings are realised but it all has to be kept hush hush because of employment. Drama drama, smexing, smexing, drama, smexing and they all lived happily ever after.

Yes, it is gratuitous sex, but the plot and characters do develop. Give it a go - it won't win awards but it's heaps better than 50 Shades.

I'll read Beautiful Bastard this weekend.

I'm still on my Carano kick You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login and am reading Second Page

The first page didn't belong to them, because it was dedicated to someone else. Eight years later, we flip to the second page. It's theirs. EPOV. Daddyward, Mechanicward, Inkward, Olderward.

Interesting start - Edward and Kate adopting from a 15 year old pregnant Bella. Even though E is 10 years older, they form a platonic bond over a love of music. Bella hands the baby over and that's that. Jump to 8 years later. That's where I'm up to now. Good so far.

I read Simply Edward in an evening - short, lovely read. I bawled like a baby, but more emotional rather than angst.
Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

There is a lot to the man who stumbles into Simply Coffee where Bella works. "I mean, I wouldn't call you Coffee Girl if we're in bed," he says, and I choke on air. This stranger...Edward, he keeps talking. "That would be weird, you know?"

Another League - short, no angst but I was really impressed by the "Aussie-ness" of Edward  - very authentic.

For someone who claims to not be interested, Edward sure seems to have it difficult to stay away from Bella. His words speak loudly, but his actions speak louder. The man is all hands. Olderward from the land down unda!

I normally say something like: oh I can't believe you did this.
Or how could you do this to me?? !!  I'm dying!
Something melodramatic like that....  :o

But if I'm really mad, like in Mens Rea I walk away from the computer...

I bet I pissed some authors along the way. Unintentionally!!

Rob Down Under update:
This poor kid You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login tweeted that he ran into Rob, and then was inundated by fans. He posted one pic, and then pulled it, and is contacting blogs asking them to respect his and Rob's wishes and remove the pic.

This one is still up.

- Sitting on the footpath watching Robert Pattinson and his crew film his new film “The Rover”
- Got pictures with Robert Pattinson, he was drinking a beer and we had a chat with him for about 30 minutes ! he is so down to earth :O
- Lol, he is filming his new film The Rover in the town I live in country Australia, the other night me my mum and sister were walking home from the pub and ran into him out the front eating and having a beer. We stopped and chatted and got two pictures with him. He asked us to try and keep them off of FB to not cause issues with the Paps

Our boy looks good - tired, but we all look tired at the end of the day in Australia in Summer. The heat takes it out of you!

Look at that smirk and the twinkle in his eye. How does he do that!!!

Hey Mernzi,

If you're going to go through hell at least you can do it with like-minded idiots!  That way we can all suffer together - talk about international relations!

So does that mean you're starting it too??

To my fellow Shredders...

Stick with it! It's almost 10pm on my Day 5 and I feel awesome! No more aches and pains! I didn't leave work until 7:00pm and it was almost 8:00 when I got home, but I still had the energy to do 40 minutes on the treadmill.

I feel so good that I'm not even upset that I am home alone on Valentine's Day, watching a very young Graham Norton (2009) interview an almost pre-pubescent Zac Efron, and David from Little Britain, and the Pet Shop Boys.

I'd be feeling better if it was this Zac Efron

because the 2009 one makes me feel like a dirty old perv.

I'd be feeling even better I had my own Zac Efron here: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

but stick with the Shred! Don't quit!
