And as usual, I'm here talking to myself like a crazy person.

So, even though it's not even 9pm, I'm heading to bed. I got off my Carano path and am reading Transcendence by Savage You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Ehd doesn't know how the woman ended up in his pit trap, he just knows he wants to protect her and provide for her in any way he can. She sure does make a lot of noises with her mouth, though. Caveward is born!

I put it off for a long time because it sounded really silly, but I'm liking it more than I thought I would.

I finally read this two days qgo after putting it off for a long time.  I really liked it.  It wasn't what I thought it was at all.

You ever walk past some bitchy girls overtly whispering about you and give them the middle finger in your mind? Well, I did that, except I somehow malfunctioned and actually gave them the finger. Can you die of embarrassment? ^-^

Fcuk them.  If they were talking about you, they deserved it-- especially since they were whispering loudly enough for you to hear.  Whispering loudy = oxymoron.  Maybe the morons will think twice next time.

I just hit another pet peeve, lol!

" I took an unnecessary breath" and "I felt my non-beating heart leap" or any variations on the theme. Yes, we know your hearts don't beat, and we know you don't HAVE to breathe, don't take everything so literally. If I read about Jasper or Edward's heart leaping or about them taking a breath, I'm not going to start crowing about how their hearts don't beat and they don't have to breathe, I know what the author is trying to get across without pushing the unneeded thing.

My problem with that? Even vampires HAVE to breath! They need the air for talking, laughing etc! So, breaths are not unnecessary...

But yeah, all those things are annoying...

What annoys me?

When poor Bella only is allowed to have read three books all her life. Pride and Prejudice, Wuthering Heights and Romeo and Juliet. Lets remember she had to read the last one for school... So, there are only two books. Poor girl. And to have to read those in each and every fanfic...

And Edward, the vampire with the whole wall full of CDs only listens to Debussy... yeah, right.

Thanks for making me feel better :-* I think most of the embarrassment stemmed from it taking me a good 10 or so seconds to realise I was actually giving them the finger and that they were looking at me in shock :D Now, though, I agree with you. Bitches need to GTFO, I'm fabulous.

Anyone else see that thing going round Twitter today? '"Twilight'' was rejected fourteen times before publication.'

And Edward, the vampire with the whole wall full of CDs only listens to Debussy... yeah, right.

Oh, that annoys me, too. And the only instruments he ever plays are the piano and sometimes the guitar... there are so many instruments I prefer. Also, I skip all references to pop music - I don't listen to that ... stuff, so I don't care how perfect the author thinks those songs are - and that seems to be nearly everywhere.

And yes, the eyes... Bella sees the Cullens for the first time in the cafeteria and immediately thinks of Edward's green eyes. I couldn't even tell anyone the colour of my best friend's eyes, so I think this is highly unrealistic. I usually roll my eyes then :) , same with the bronze hair, the crooked smile, ...

I also don't like to read about sparkly canon vampires (I know, reading Twilight fanfictions while i don't like Twilight... I read the books once each but I wasn't exactly fond of them. I prefer other types of vampires, like Ann Rice's), but thankfully, there are lots of AH stories around so I stick to those :) Sparkly vampires and instant love are two things that make me drop the fic at once.

Nothing embarrassing about silently but effectively sticking up for yourself.  I say, GOOD FOR YOU

Well, now I wish flipping them the bird had been my intention if I'd have known you'd all agree :D I don't understand girls like that :banghead:

Has anyone else read Harkham's Case? I'm on the fence as to whether I liked it. It was good but the author added so much random drama and it was unrealistic at times, too. That's a fanfic pet peeve of mine actually - where you have to completely suspend belief in an AH story. If it's AH it should at least try to be true to reality.

I actually liked Harkham's Case, but agree there was way too much drama that wasn't needed.  I wouldn't reread it or mark it as a favorite, but I enjoyed it enough to finish with eyes rolling at times.

Is it over? I think there were at least 10 different issues going on at the same time. Angst for the sake of angst.

Yes, it completed today at 40 chapters.  If all the extra drama was cut out, it could have probably been a good 25 30 chapter fic.

AH, OOC. B/E. "If it's not Asperger's, then what is it?" Bella asked. Alice paused before answering, "We don't know what he has. He was the first documented case. For now, he's called Harkham's Case number one." Bella smiled as a tear leaked out. "Okay." But nothing was. This changed everything. I mostly enjoyed it due to Edward being very sweet/his and Bella's interactions, but then
