Bwahahahaha  >:D

Welcome  ;)

Thanks very much.  I just wish I knew you were all here back then.  I spent hours trawling Twilighted before I heard about FF and then thinking what the hell is TWCS? Eventually, I ended up here and don't want to look back.  Cheers for the welcome.

Now , hours of catching up on the thread to do.

Couldn't quite see the pics properly on my ipad due to screen glare so I thought I'd throw my jacket over head to fully appreciate them and that's when my 14 yo son decides to pop in the room and asks WTH I'm doing!! No not awkward at all.

Ugh, not getting alerts for any postings! Dammmit!  >:(

There's a Dusty readalong tonight *looks at Demaris*

Just about to start Unrequited... I kept passing over this one, not sure why though. I think because the summary is stupid.

Yeah, I know but it's on the The Devil's Portal so no can do!

LOL, this fic was ok. Too much hype about it when it was a WIP

I'm so behind this evening. Never understood the hype with Last Tango in Forks, even the name is daft  :D

I still haven't flounced or finished TWBB, I don't know what's wrong with me...I'm reading all you ladies comments about not being able to find anything to read and on my iPod Kings of Leon are singing

 :notes:  I'm looking for something
To sink in my teeth without any crying
But I can't find no place or nothing
Where thrills are cheap and love is divine  :notes:

And guess what the song is called?! Dusty!  :D :D :D It's like divine intervention! Off to see these beauts in concert in July. I. can. not. wait!

Also, Rob is apparently one of the presenters of the Golden Globes next week. Trying to decide if I can be bothered to watch the ceremony just for that..

Well I hope he remembers his undercrackers for that!! If I was his mum, having had him while pubescent, I'd have a word...The only award ceremony I pay any attention to is the BAFTAs and that's mainly for work.

I liked it. But I skimmed several parts. Not my favourite couple. Wanted to slap both of them often enough. I think Bella was a pretty good description of a woman of that time.

I got a late birthday present from my husband today.  It's a tribute calendar.   That means it has BIG pictures of Rob with little tiny monthly calendars at the bottom.  Yeah!

Bugs me too, I have flounced so many that are so badly edited. I push my way through some of them because the story is good, but sometimes it's painful.

And has anyone else noticed that the Jasper/Bella fics seem to be far more poorly written than the Edward/Bella ones. Or maybe it's just that I notice it more because I'm mostly reading the Jasper/Bella ones.

Yup, it's def'y harder to find well written Jasper/Bella fics.

Either that or there just aren't that many of them so you come across them more often vs E/B where there are so many you may not see many of the horribly edited ones.

I've seen some downright awful J/B fics (in terms of editing) and I always flounce. I just can't do it. The first misused there, their, they're and I'm cringing. After that the mistakes are all I see.

Savana~have you read You Get Me Closer to God by americnxidiot (same author as cascade)? I read it way back but I liked it. I can get you a link if you haven't read it and want to.

RDMickey~Holy shit...those pics. I love to see the spoilers on your posts. I lol at the comparison pic of Rob/Taylor

No I haven't read that one, I think I have it saved somewhere. I flounced C&C. I legit can't get into anything. I may need to take a FF break, for like 3 months :(

Gah, that sucks

I know how frustrating it is when you can't seem to find anything that just sucks you in. I've have it happen but it usually passes fairly quickly.

Lmk if you don't have it. Though I doubt it will be the one to snag your attention.

Nothing much is holding my attention lately either. The more popular pubbed books are almost all self pubbed and badly edited lately too. Things that I used to love  just aren't holding my attention. And I'm finding that if I put something down for more than a couple of hours, I just don't want to get back into it. I need to FORCE myself to finish up some of the stuff I have in progress right now before I start up anything new.

I am reading Risen Anew, and it's not bad. Different take on Twilight, Edward actually does bite Bella and she turns. The editing is better than lots I've read lately, but things seem a bit...simplistic maybe? I don't really know what I'm trying to say here.

I NEED to get my ass in gear and finish Hit by Destiny, The Quiet Room, and A Different Direction.
