I'm so behind this evening. Never understood the hype with Last Tango in Forks, even the name is daft  :D

I still haven't flounced or finished TWBB, I don't know what's wrong with me...I'm reading all you ladies comments about not being able to find anything to read and on my iPod Kings of Leon are singing

There is a fic that I love love love and have saved at home (home tomorrow - woohoo! :dance:) but I can't think of a title or author off the top of my head. Bella writes for a music (Rolling Stones type of thing) and Edward is the drummer in an upcoming band. They end up touring with Kings of Leon.

I read this and enjoyed it. A bit of angst but seems fairly true to the era (WW2).

I will read - and finish ANYTHING though. I'm a little jealous to read how some if you just flounce - I stick it out to the bitter end *shakes head*. I even read all of one that had Charlie wearing a pink tutu and master sting! Thank goodness it was only 3 chapters. I think the author might have been smoking something that night!

I actually have a file on my PC with over 100 fics I started and never reached the end. But I think I'm going through a "zero-tolerance-for-bad-writing" phase  :D

That's my rec for the day.

I finished IA - don't waste your time on this one. It was pulled at 16 chapters, at the New Moon part when Edward nicks off. There was no relationship between the characters, except for lust, and as B& E are siblings it was just too squicky.

Then I moved on to More by Carano. Now, I've enjoyed everything by Cara - nice, light, fluffy fics. This one just didn't float my boat. I'll read anything, and it wasn't the Daddy kink that I didn't like but it just didn't progress through anything. B&E had already met (he is engaged to her sister) but then they re-meet, realise they want kinky ever after with other, bonk, bonk, bonk with fingers up the bum, bonk, bonk, the end.

Next up for me is Offside by Savage. I've liked her other fics so hopefully this will be a winner after these 2 duds. I had a good run with Dusty and Pound of Flesh so was due for some ff fails.

I read Edward's Christmas Headache.  It was okay.  I mostly enjoyed it as a quick read.  Though I can't remember whether she has problems with SPaG. 

The Mountain man one - yeah, that one *shakes head*  Mountainward is a little strange/psycho in a keep away from me way.  I only read a couple chapters on that one and it's a WIP.

No really, they used to have real ebooks on the general boards, but there were some copyright issues and now there are only fanfic stories.   :(

Offsides was very popular.  I just couldn't get past the nasty Carlisle. 

But if you like angst, Savage is one of the best...

OMG! I actually thought the same thing and was thinking, "no you can't post that"  But I sure did look.  I would say yes he is..... ;D

I enjoyed When in Doubt a lot.  Oh, I guess that was the last good story I read....  I have to remove them off my nook home page after I finish or it removes other stuff when I add new books.  So I tend to forget what I just read.  Getting old is so sad..... :P
