OK I have to ask as I have never been able to do it.  How do you reply to two different quotes like you just did?

Do you just add quote and then add quote?
When you are typing a new reply, if you scroll down from where the reply box is there should be a list of most recent responses in the thread. From there you can press quotes on any desired post :-*

you click on quote on the first page as you normally do, when the reply page opens you scroll down. there you have the last coments. you click on insert quote again.

I wanted to let everyone know that I'm working with the mods to get our 152 Twilight fanfic thread back up.  Drypen claims she was doing something and caused it to lock up.  Don't panic!

Here's the scoop.  Drypen was merging another thread with our thread.  It locked up and changed the name of the thread to the thread that was being merged into it.  Here's the link for now: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

The mods need Mr. Admin to work some magic to get it back to normal, but it should happen relatively soon.  Thanks.

i know right?

what an a.s.s.hole

and he can get thousands of tattoos, it still doesnt make him bad.a.s.s  . He cant even grow facial hair.

He has to walk that way to hold up the pants. If you look at the other pics, his right hand is always in his pocket..why? To hold up the pants of course. Maybe I'm to old but I just don't get this style. I have three sons and if they even entertained the thought of doing that shite I'd be making headlines across this country. I'm a mom, so yes I can read minds.

Really struggling to get into ant fics at the moment - I mus of flounced like 4 in the last 2 days.  :(
So I've gone back to one of my all time favourites - Age of Consent by Littlesecret84
I just love this fic - it's so well written and it's got a Bella that I can tolerate in it.  :D

Talking of JB - has anyone checked this out You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login.
My friend sent me the link ages a go and some of them are the spitting image of him - had right laugh at it.  :D

I LOVE your avatar!  Miranda is what I call my favorite!

Fic slump - I hear you.  I started reading twifics in 2008, but I didn't read the big ones that everyone seemed to be raving about (I still haven't read Master of the Universe).  So that's my plan.  I'm going back to the fics I remember people talking about on boards.  I googled and found someone's old list - Top 150 BxE fics (as of 2010).  Hopefully these stories have the goods to back up the number of reviews and recs - we'll see how that goes.

Apulia :) And You??
Oh my here It's already Tuesday 4:53 p.m. !!! I'd give everything to go back at yesterday! I need more time to study!!! Why aren't days 48 hours long??

Hey Peonie,
I admit I had to google Apulia, but it looks to be a beautiful part of the world. I'm from Queensland, Australian - another beautiful part of the world.

It's now Thursday evening so it will be Friday in just a few hours and yet another week will be over.

Who stole February?

My husband is in the navy and left a week ago for a year. I have 3 sons that are 21, 18, and 15. The older boys live in Va Beach. I am living in the Low Country of South Carolina and I love it here. I am originally from Va Beach and moved here 3 years ago when my husband was stationed here.

Another beautiful part of the world! I'm surprised how many ladies here are from either North or South Carolina! I know that Nicholas Sparks sets his books (and movies) in that area, and you all read twific too? What's in the water there?  :D

You must be so proud of your husband. Every second year, the Australian and the US Armed Forces hold a combined exercise just down the road from my school. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login They set up a camp in the Show Grounds which is right next door from the school, and always have some sort of interaction with us at the school as part of the exercise - experiencing working with civilians, I guess. They also use our oval for exercise and down time (they work out on the playground equipment or kick a footy around the oval).

The kids love it, and it builds such respect for these brave men and women.

I don't complain either - hundreds of men in uniform running past and working out around the school? Yeah - I don't get much work done  during those few weeks! I tried imposing a "shirts off" rule for all visiting military personnel, but the commander wouldn't agree  :'(

2013 is another go year!  >:D

I started out reading HP fanfics in 2003 and I resisted reading Twilight for as long as possible but being surrounded by teenagers at the time they finally wore me down and I gave in. I wasn't and am still not a fan of the books but after reading them I wondered what fans could do with them. I was hooked from my first fic.  :)

I read Twilight because some of our 12 yo at school were begging me to buy the book, so I had to make sure it was suitable for the library. I enjoyed it enough that I read the rest of the set (I only donated the first book to the library - we are only a primary school). I had never heard of fanfic until my SIL told me about Midnight Sun. I googled Midnight Sun and after I read that, I came upon something that mentioned the BD fade to blacks, and that just opened up a whole new world to me!

I enjoy most fanfics far more than I enjoyed the real books, but I can't bring myself to venture into any other fandoms.

BTW I'm a 36c even though they are a little more south than they should be.  ;)

International bra sizes confuse me! I just discovered that US and UK share band size, US and Australia share cup size and UK and France share cup size!

Why? Why can't they be the same everywhere?

All I know for a fact is that in Australia, everything is a little more south than they should be. ;) That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

I just finished The purple banana hammock - loved it!

Getting ready to start The real life of E.A.Masen. I need humor and light hearted fics right now. Too much angst or drama would be a bad idea as I tend to absorb whatever emotion I'm reading.  :)

I've said it before (once or twice... 8)) but everything by TheFicChick is awesome!

I like to mix up humour and angst - I get too depressed reading constant angst and sometimes just need light and fluffy and no brain power to keep sane.

Did anyone in the UK watch Broadchurch on Monday night?  It is a new 8 part drama on BBC starring David Tennant and Andrew Buchan amongst others.

I was blubbering like an idiot.

For those in the US it will be coming to you soon apparently.

If you are anywhere else it appears you are sh!t out of luck - sorry.   ;D

I am hoping my pirate powers will overide being shit out of luck!

Did anyone watch Vikings? I have seen it talked about but there is no indication of if or when it might come to Australia. I did a quick search earlier this week for a torrent to d/l but there weren't any. I'm hoping I just searched too soon - I love historical stuff!

Do you just add quote and then add quote?

I happen to do that a fair bit - can you tell?  ;)

Open your reply in a new tab/window (right click on reply, open link in new tab/window), and then select everything between the first and last square bracket and paste it into the original reply.

So long as you keep the brackets together and don't put your comments inside the brackets, it's pretty easy.

I was teasing one of the kids at school today - he was tucking his shirt in at the back and every time he went to sit back down, it would slip out again. I told him to pull his shorts up a bit - or was he trying to be like Justin Bieber? He told me, "No - he's a girl!"

I have never seen a kid pull their pants up that fast or that high! Smart kid there too!

OK - I can't see anyone else here at the moment (or for the last 3 hours) so I'm off to bake 100 cupcakes. My school is a polling booth for  a local council referendum on Saturday. In Australia, voting is a major way for schools to raise heaps of money - I'm sure most people in Australia only go to vote to get a sausage on bread! That's why we have compulsory voting for anyone over 18!

My P&C (PTA?) is running a cake stall, a sausage sizzle, a plant stall and selling raffle tickets for an Easter hamper. I don't need to be there but I have promised chocolaty goodness!

Season 1 of Black Mirror was good, they're all built on the same dystopian world with dark themes so as long as you don't mind that then go for it. You could probably find a link to watch online easily enough to see what you think of the first 10 minutes or so.

I have never been able to find anything other than local channels to watch online - I think they must put some sort of international block on it or something. I can't even watch Jimmy Kimmel unless it's via youtube!

I'm taking a small fic break myself. I finished up JD Robb's In Death series the other day (gawd, over 40 books in and I still adore Eve and Roarke!) and now I'm reading the Experiment in Terror series by Karina Halle. This is a really good, well written series, especially for a self pubber. It's more spooky than sexy, but there is some good tension going on between the two main characters, that started to heat up a bit in book 3 (thank goodness!).

I've kinda sorta been sucked into Walking Dead fics. Just finished up my second one last night and I'm enjoying the change with characters/plots.

I have an itch for a Twific but just can't find anything that looks *good* yet.

*waves* hi everyone :)

Hi!
I love The Outsiders! I loved the book when I was a teenager, and I loved the movie too! I actually bought both about 2 years ago.

Imagine being so talented that you could pick out that cast when they were all unknowns - Matt Dillon, Diane Lane, Ralph Macchio, Patrick Swayze, Rob Lowe, Emilio Estevez, Tom Cruise - I loved Sodapop and Dallas.

I just mentioned How to Lose a Guy in a PM!
