Someone mentioned other fandoms?

I've kinda sorta been sucked into Walking Dead fics. Just finished up my second one last night and I'm enjoying the change with characters/plots.

I have an itch for a Twific but just can't find anything that looks *good* yet.

I just can't get into the zombie thing. I've d/l'ed TWD but can't bring myself to watch it.

I've never *liked* zombies...still don't (all kinds of nasty) but, for me, the show is more about the apocalypse (a fav genre of mine) and the survival of this group. And, well, I love Daryl lol.

Hi!
I love The Outsiders! I loved the book when I was a teenager, and I loved the movie too! I actually bought both about 2 years ago.

Imagine being so talented that you could pick out that cast when they were all unknowns - Matt Dillon, Diane Lane, Ralph Macchio, Patrick Swayze, Rob Lowe, Emilio Estevez, Tom Cruise - I loved Sodapop and Dallas.

I just mentioned How to Lose a Guy in a PM!

Exactly! That cast was incredible! And there was a part, when Soda Pop was getting out of the shower that you kinda got a glimpse of a little somethin' somethin'... My bestie and I spent A LOT of time rewinding, playing, rewinding, playing back that part.

I know EXACTLY what you're talking about.

I love Daryl. Yeah, he's always dirty and VERY rough around the edges, but I love that guy. The main reason I've never read the comics is that I heard Daryl isn't in them, and I need Daryl. Hell, I've even dreamed about Daryl! It ended in a zombie chase, but it was still a good dream, lol!

I'm not a fan of horror, but for some reason, I have always enjoyed a good zombie flick. One of my favorite movies ( also goes on my can watch any time list!) is Shaun of the Dead.

I will always remember the sticker on the VHS tapes from the rental stores

"Be Kind, Please Rewind".

They sucked so bad. Could never find just the right spot without spending 20 mins rewinding, fast forwarding, rewind a little. A little bit more. SHIT. Too far, fast forward a bit. Goddamn it, too far.

yea, once you told me that you heard Daryl wasn't in the books? Pass, I need him in the story. I love his roughness, his no-bull shit attitude. And the fics I'm reading are all Daryl/OC....I just can't see him with Carol....at all.

And Then Theres you is  a High school fic with abuse and bullying. Its very angsty and I don't like too much angst but I just can't stop reading this one. It is such a great story and I have to find out what happens. I was up until the wee hours reading it because I was so totally enthralled. That hasn't happened to me in quite a while.  :)

I can't get into the whole zombie/ walking dead thing. All 3 of my boys think its the greatest thing in the world. I really hate zombies and zombie movies. The only exception is Shawn of the Dead. I can always watch that one.

I love all the boobie discussions!  :D

Don't do it!!

I am still reading Where the Sidewalk Ends by Bronzehairedgirl620.  Demaris recommended it earlier this week.  I have nearly finished it now and I have found it to be good with twists that weren't expected.  It is not perfect and you have to let some things go, but, overall I have enjoyed it.

I will be looking for something else myself in a few minutes.

Sooooooooo, you know how we are all different ages and pervs??
nothing against it. But i had a class today, at my teachers house. She is almost 60.
And her desktop wallpaper was from Ian something, the guy from Vampire Diaries.
 :D :D :D :D :D

And its realy weird cause her 30 plus year old son is there listening to the lesson. weird (he is always there, i think he has some mental development problem - he interrupted the lesson once to tell his mom that Rob and Kscrew were having a baby and raising it in England.....).

She has grown up men coming into her house for private lessons and then BAM. You know she is lusting over weird eyes during the lesson.

and all i can think its: i hope she doesnt go into pts and ff.net. :57: :57:

As effed up as that sounds I totally understand. I was in Wmart the day after BDawn was released and I decided I was gonna grab a copy. I cannot tell you how many "mature" women were grabbing copies, not one teen or twentysomething in sight. I mean I really stood back and watched this phenom. Ages ranged from middle 30's to 60's, for real. Like you, the thought crossed my mind, how many of "them" are amongst "us".
Goes to show you, age does not matter, there is a little bit (or a lot) or perviness in all of us.
Live long and prosper , I say.
