I know, she does make some silly errors, and Im usually one who cannot stand that, but her fics are so good that they don't bother me at all. Im a total Speklez fangirl at this point lol.

Oh shit, yes on both speklez and lifelesslyndsey. Fantastic for non-canon. I've only read one thing by BetterinTexas but flounced when I was about 3/4 of the way through....can't remember which one exactly but I remember it was heading towards a F/F hookup and that's just not my cup of tea lol. I do have Protecting Maddy by him that is up soon

Well, he's a guy, can't fault him for some F/F scenes...  at least Bella gets all the yummy guys too...

Yes, and it was really good. I liked Growing up more, and his Bella/OC fic was great, too.
Each of his fics has me laughing sooo hard that I know not to eat or drink while reading... 
He is one of my go to writers when I'm in a fic funk, I just know I'll like what I read...

I know that in in the total minority with this but.....betterintexas is not a favorite for me. I flounced 2 others last night, making it 3 so far. Not sure if its just the fic mood I have been in but I just cant get into any of them. Its the writing, it doesn't flow for me...which is disappointing since hes one of the bigger non Canon writers

I think all three are really good writers, but... (about to cause some controversy here, sorry) I have struggled with all three.  The lifelesslyndsey one where Bella slashes her wrists at the Cullen house really put me off, I read the speklez one where Jasper was the demon son of the devil - not for me, too far fetched.  The betterintexas stuff, the stories are good, but for some reason I struggled to read them.  I think the best one so far is Atonement, but I have never been able to read Protecting Maddie, I don't like kids in vamp fics, not my thing so have put it off.

I love lifelesslyndsey and I have enjoyed most of what I've read of Speklez so far....Though I tried The Demon's Mate twice and flounced both times so I'll be leaving that one alone. That said, the first two that I read by her were MUCH better in the SP&G department than the  one I'm currently reading.

And my issue with BetterInTexas is that he doesn't seem too fond of commas, so every sentence is short and just...choppy. I don't know if that even makes sense.

Agree with all you say here, especially Mortissues, one of the best, I love her stuff.  There are several authors I really like, another one is Merina Green, I loved the Running Series.
