only  900 reviews but very beautiful story, no unneccesary drama, no angst , simple beautiful story of E & B.sometime i like this type of stories where other characters are not hovering & providing thier 2 cents in E-B's life.

Someone was looking for What You Least Expected on one of the other threads - and found it  . You ladies are amazing!

Master of My Heart (by Brianna Marley) is the only WIP I have left - after too many traumatic experiences with WIPs (including What You Least Expected's removal/reduction). I have really enjoyed her stories but have been frustrated with lack of updates, despite frequent assurances that updates are just around the corner. Her plotlines are great - quite complex, original, so intriguing that they have kept me reading/following despite some pretty big SPaG issues )particularly past/present/future tense) and lack of updates.

Hello all,

First let me begin with saying how much I miss you all. Real life is out of control lately, with my demanding job, my children, and husband to take care, of desperate times called for desperate measures. I'm happy to say that I've realized how much my absence for the FF community has not only affected myself, but many of my friends and acquaintances. So, I made a deal with myself and extend a promise to you.

You'll being seeing more from me, starting today. I'm vowing a completion of stories, starting with the final chapters of Master of My Heart. Today, I extend a small snippet of what's to come. Although I doubt you could call it small in relation to what you've been waiting for. I won't name the point of view, but I will say it's probably enough to spark your interests, as short as it is, I've been chastened, told it's the ultimate tease. Anyhow, Chapter 48 (Name revealed with the posting later tonight.) will be up some time later tonight. Follow shortly after with Chapters 49 and finally 50.

I hope you'll leave me some feedback at the bottom. You know I love to hear from you all, good or bad mouthing.

Now, if like me, you have been waiting for this - don't hold your breath. This message was posted Saturday, 17 November. She tweeted on 21/11/12 that she was "getting messages that some of you are seeing the next ch of MOMH and some are not...I will research when I get home!!". MoMH on FF hasn't been updated since 16/06/12. On TWCS, it is 14 chapters behind and has not been updated since 2010! 

I know, right? I think it was your post I read a while back that said that there were only 2 chapters left.

I was so excited . BAtB went straight to #1 on my summer holiday reading list!

And now this! I'm devo!!!  THIS is a serious first world problem!

Why not squeeze out 2 chapters? Unless I smell a PTP...

*sighs* I honestly don't understand this fandom anymore. I feel that since MoTU got published a lot of authors are bailing and/or not completing their stories anymore 

I'm sure this is not the case but I guess I'm noticing cause I joined the Twi fandom in '09. I wish she would have just posted them. I wasn't really expecting her start the 2 others, but come on... 2 chapters *huffs*  damn shame. Another good one bites the dust. At least she's keeping them up on her blog and TWCS.

I'm finishing AWTFA today and then my reading this week will consist of proof reading 100 report cards, written by teachers who don't proof read their own work but write comments about how the children need to check their work!

Nothing is better than proof reading report cards.

When I woke up this morning (5:15am Sunday morning  - I love Summer but I've had a yuck week and just wanted to sleep in this morning!), I read a few chapters and now have only the last three to read. If the story just stopped there, I think I would have lost it:

How are you finding AWTFA? I hope it lived up to the amount of hype I gave it 
And I'd quite like to know the answer to the BATB question too, if anyone has read it can you let us know whether the story can stand on it's own without the last 2 chapters? Actually did the author say it was going to be only 2 more or are we all guessing? The way I like to guess Dusty's only got a couple of chapters left due to Sarah (YellowGlue) saying Chapter 35 was her last AN?...
Also I'm in need of some advice; is the fact that I roll my eyes every time Edward kisses Bella proclaiming undying love after knowing her a week, a symptom that I might have Fic Fatigue? Because if that is the case I'm in deep poo poo. (Hey! where has the poo smiley gone?!)

There have been many times I have actually sought out these love at first sight stories and welcome them as a much needed escape from some of the s l u t-, douche-, cheater- or other wards guaranteed to make me upset.  Nothing like fluffy fluff to offset the angst and drama.   

When I feel Fic Fatigue coming on, I watch movies or series from TV.  I usually end up right back reading fic after fic within days.   

I have read so many fics that I am not even sure what genre I like anymore.   I used to just read murder mysteries and Stephen King. 

Fan fic has a bunch of every kind of story, and many are very well told.  I may not like some of the endings or pairings, but can enjoy the author's story.

I too have wondered if there are any ff writers here as some of the screen names are similar or the same as some ff author names. 

Also, whenever I see that a writer is not going to give up the story and is dedicated to finish, it usually means that is the last time they well be around.  Although, a couple authors have come back after 1 year to finish, so never say never.

Thanks for all the reviews and recs.  It makes it kind of easy to pick the next story sometimes.

TKegl was also removing or editing her M work because she was publishing a YA novel.  She didn't want any of her future fans or son to find her M rated FF work.

Some authors do pop in.  For example, lizconno, rbchess [rbsschess on ffn & TWCS], and saewod.  Some have only popped in to ask that their work be removed (none of the authors I just named), others have contributed.  There are probably others, but those are the ones who come to my mind.  There is a hope4more on ffn, but she is not our hope4more.
