Could you ladies help me?, I got a real book out of the library called Wicked Ties by Shayla Black;
when I started reading it was like reading Intimate Ties by tellmenolie, the only things that was different
was the names of course, the job the guy was a bodyguard, and she worked on a cable tv programme, so my
question was Intimates Ties published it is not on the authors FFn page.  Thank you

In New Zealand we called them undies, I remember in the 80's wearing pedal pushers.

Reading an awesome story that's been on my TBR forever.  This Is Not My Life by IsaKassees You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Follow Bella as she tries to survive a madman's abduction and keep a stranger's child from succumbing to his wild fantasies, and follow Edward as he tries to stay sane searching for his daughter taken right before his eyes.

I have a horrible flu and I may also be PMSing, but this one has had me choked up way more than I care to admit.  Very well written, great plot if you can handle the heartfail, good character development.  I still have 10 chapters to go, but something pretty drastic would have to happen to change my mind about how good this fic is.
You held out your hand, and I took it without stopping to make sense of what I was doing. For the first time in almost a century, I felt hope.

This is one of my all time favorites.  I love Bella in this one.  I have read it multiple times.

No, but it was based on it going by her author's note: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Author's Chapter Notes:

RATED M FOR LANGUAGE AND ADULT SITUATIONS

The idea for this particular story is taken from Wicked Ties by Shayla Black. She is fantabulous. I highly recommend you guys read it. Decadent by Shayla is AWESOME. I couldn't put it down! I can assure you that this story will change GREATLY in reference to Wicked Ties. No disrespect to Shayla is intended. Edward and Bella's issues will not be anywhere near the original, that I can promise. Nor will the ending. If you want to continue reading, please do. If not, I understand. Now onto the story.
You held out your hand, and I took it without stopping to make sense of what I was doing. For the first time in almost a century, I felt hope.

Oh I completely forgot to post this earlier, I found it on ADF. Apparently the author pulled her stories but is now reposting them due to lots of people asking. From the sounds of it she's just doing minor tweaks and gathering the chapters together, so it should update fairly frequently.

You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login Summary: Geeky Edward Cullen is dumped by his high school sweetheart...alone...in a parking lot...with an engagement ring in his pocket. To avoid looking pathetic at his parents' New Years celebration, he enlists the help of his beautiful, and mysterious friend Bella to pose as his girlfriend. Hilarity ensues.

So, when I follow a fic on ff.net and get email updates will I eventually get one that states it is complete?

The e-mail alerts won't state that it's complete.  You have to check the story.  It will only be marked complete if the author so marks it.  Not every author marks their story complete.  Sometimes they only say it's the end in the author notes.  Sometimes it doesn't ever complete because they intended to add an epilogue or outtakes.  The possibilities are endless.

which sends me an e-mail when a fic that has received 1000+ reviews completes.  But that assumes the author marks it complete.

HEAs
« Reply #2347 on: December 02, 2012, 05:30 PM »
I have a question about HEAs. Is it a HEA if both parties die in the end but their "ghosts" come together and walk off into the sunset? If "no" I've just read my first non-HEA and survived, yeah!  If "yes" then I've still not worn my Big Girl's Pants (or knickers/ undies depending on where you live) and I'm a little bit pissed about it. >:D

P.S I don't count Toye ( which I have read) by Bratty Vamp as I thought that ending was funny!

Oh ladies, I'm not sure I will survive. I had Monday off since I was out of town for the Thanksgiving holidays, but came back to hell and brimstone. I worked 57 hours in 4 days. I am just about a zombie. I managed to get 4 loads of clothes done, outside xmas put up, hubs off to the airport, and supper done. It is only 830pm and I am ready to hit the sack.

I know I have been MIA, and I miss you all. But this cougar is about to freaking drop.

While out of town and no internet, I managed to read 3 books. Just not sure what the heck to read next. I really think I will dive into Olivia Cunning, but I am not sure. I feel like I am loosing touch with all my ff. I still have my updates to all my wips, and I have started a few new ones from authors I love. Who can resist Jaxon22 or CaraNo, eh ? Alas, but my brain is tired, my body even more.

Knickers, petal pushers, capri's.......They are also called Clam diggers around here. Maybe that's because I was raised at the coast.

And I cannot stop by without leaving decorations, I think some of you might be upset....so without further ado.....

and a few cute kitties

Now lemme see how many pages I have missed. ughhhhh

Eacalltheway had some questions on the Round 3 thread.  I'm going to remove it there and I'm sure some of you would like to discuss these issues in depth!

A little diversion...I need to ask two questions :
1) I have read references to arm pit licking connected to RPatz, where did that originate
2) When references are made RPatz's member ( don't laugh could not find a pc word) it's always ginormous, never average. Where did that come from?
Yea, so fill me in, I know you guys have the answer. I can barely contain myself as I write this....

Uh, yeah.  I guess that's a great idea, cuz I thought we were talking about But a Whisper on his Lips by Mmm.Bby You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login  I have no idea why I thought that?  But I think that's the one with the Rosalie PMS quote...

Does ANYONE here have a decently formatted copy of But a Whisper on His Lips they would mind sending me?

I've used both FLAGG and the FF downloader plug in for Calibre, and every time, it ends up with weird jerky formatting, broken sentences, etc. It's all there, but choppy!

The Rosalie PMS quote was (also?) in A Forest Fire, so I am equally confused.

Ugh the first came from some gross interview Kristen gave to Vanity Fair that said her boyfriend liked licking her armpits or something similar.  :P
The next.. well, who wants to crush on someone with a pencil peen?! But also, You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login  >:D And now I have 'robert pattinson penis' in my search history... at least with an excuse this time. Kidding! Kinda.
