There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Nothing. People may have desires they never express, but think it. It is human nature and cannot be controlled. The difference I think is the culture women have been in for so long. For guys, it is shrugged off as being a man. If a woman does that, then we are w h o r e s. The difference is that the culture is ever evolving and we are getting more vocal so they are just now hearing what we have always thought.

Everything you say is true. What's interesting to me, I read only 35% of the worlds population of women have 'come along ways baby'. Stout believers in the old ways or sects in all religions, still believe that woman and children should be seen but not heard. Even in the old testament the joys of sex are written. What I'm trying to say, is that I don't believe the female population will even evolve into an equal society to men.
Case in point. I have three daughters and one son. First daughter, married, two kids, no trouble talking about sex and incredibly affectionate. Second married with three kids but talk to her about sex or she sees a rdmickey hawt pics, turns beet red and practically hides. Her hubbies family is very religious and very uptight. I believe her children were concieved because she washed his underwear with hers. These people btw are incredibly nice so please don't misunderstand me. Third daughter sees both sides of the fence and is trying to figure out which direction she may go but will stay neutral until she finds a man that makes her happy in all things. So she is a coin toss. I think it unfortunate that a majority of women in the world follow the ideology of men more so than not.

This is why I love fanfiction. Thousands upon thousands of women are broadcasting their ideas of love, sex and marriage, in so many different genres, to the world with charactors we all enjoy.

Thank you all for your well wishes for today. My work day started with 100 little voices singing "Happy Birthday", followed by far too many birthday claps! I was also presented with this beautiful arrangement of Aussie natives from my 100 kids:

So I was rereading The Man Who Can't be Moved because I wanted some Actorward and I had to stop the last two I started because they had Bella shuttering when Edward touched her.

Anyway TMWCBM properly has Bella shuddering, and I'm all happy....then I see it. They are at the beach house...opening the shudders. Yes! They are opening the shudders...what the heck happened to using shutters on a house??

Sigh....it's everywhere now....

I'm not a fan of actorward either. I have yet to find an actorward fic that makes me all giddy *sighs*

Every time I look on here I see something that makes me smile, or that I thought only made me annoyed, it's refreshing to see I'm not the only one to think these things. This is one of them. Why can't they distinguish between a d and a t?

I don't normally read any where Bella is an actress, so cheatergate doesn't come up. Also, I rarely read cheater fics, so it isn't an issue for me. I would have said this one was a good one, though long, but now I'm reconsidering. I think the author is Jenny0719 & mostly I would rec her stuff. Defying Gravity was great, though it is a doctorward.

Really, the best one to start with is probably Sexy Silk by jlho. Ignore the lack of complete - it's just missing a not needed epilogue.

And? Actorward is not for everyone

Though if you want lemons - On The Double by MasenVixen is a fun Actorward

I never read cheating fics. Well, fics where Bella cheats on Edward or Edward cheats on Bella.
But rob lost his appeal after he took Kristen back. I don't really follow their lives, watch interviews etc.
I have been reading more about them since cheatergate. My Edward is a version of rob (since I saw the movie before reading the books). I just never liked Kristen, I thought she must have some redeeming quality if rob loved her.

Now I just seen him as a pathetic guy with no self respect. It wasn't just a case of cheating, it was public humiliation with photographic evidence.

So I'm trying really hard to separate my Edwards from Rob.

Some readers picture Rob & Kristen as Edward & Bella. I don't because I read the books before I saw the movie. Kristen is so far from my idea of Bella - especially now because she is too skinny. Rob is closer, but actually Rob as Rob only a little paler. Edward should have messy hair. BD Edward looks nothing like what I picture Edward to look like.

If you like Actorward, this is one of the better ones

Rock star...RPattz is in that one.

I loved it mostly because I found it hilarious. Though I hated the "New Moon" part. Why does Edward always need to leave? It is like the "Bella gets attacked" that everyone feels the need to put into stories. Though sometimes, that is done well & it gives Edward a chance to be hero & rescue her

I saw the movie before I read the books, so i ended up picturing them, loosely, as the characters.

But I also have a hard time with the whole " actor falls in love with the girl next door" fantasy. I know fanfics deal with the authors fantasies, but I keep wondering that actorward is too close to home. I keep picturing the author instead of Bella.

I loved loved loved the late late show with Edward Cullen.
It has actorella in it.
I actually don't mind actorella, or famousella with actor ward.

I don't actually give a poo about whether or not Rpatz and what'sherface live happily ever after, but I just don't believe that relationship was ever as much as most "fans" would like to believe, I think it was mainly a marketing ploy so it was less taking her back as it was keeping up appearance for the last red carpet. In my head, Fan Fic Bella is not Grumpy Stewfart, if she was, how could I possibly read the 1000s of stories on my TBR if the female protagonist walked around with a face like a smacked arse?!

I do love your name for KStew. Really fits. I think there was a little more on his side as far as the relationship goes. But mostly? I kind of thought it was a friends with benefits type thing. She just didn't seem as into him as he was into her. But maybe he's a better actor?
