A couple of WIPs I was following finished over the past few days and I thought I'd share! They're both ~20,000 words.

Business Casual (You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login) and The Right Guy (You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login). Both are definitely worth a read and a nice break from Christmas-ness!

I just finished The Life Aquatic and liked it, it was pretty similar to another story I'd read recently so I didn't find it as good as I otherwise would have. Looking for something else to read now, Otherwise Alone was going to be the next one but I'm uncomfortable paying for something she donated previously..

Has anyone read The Unwanted Bride? (You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login) It's apparently complete but I'm not sure it's my thing.

Urgh. I am so sick of writers putting author's notes in the middle of their story! It completely ruins the flow of the fics and so often leads me to give them the flick. I don't care that you love those song lyrics or that this really happened to you one sunny day last year. I do care that you can't spell for toffee but get a beta or spell check; don't give me this rubbish: (AN: Is this how you spell that?). It drives me to absolute distraction. The only time I can tolerate it when it's the author warning people about potential triggers, otherwise it makes me want to do this

Am in the same rut. I started the Red Line but for some reason, i can't seem to get the enthusiasm for it. Maybe bec of Edward's job

. And *gasp* i went to read portions of the last chapter! I think my brain is in overload and i only prefer to read short ones these days, below 300 pages. Oh well, will go back to it next year bec i did like the writing so far.

Off to read Life Aquatic, Business Casual and The right guy, all short ones to fit my mood. Thanks for the rec!

Wisp outtake was very sweet. It was nice to see an outtake a bit closer to the story than the Disney one.
