I find young or new authors have trouble with lemons - um writing lemons. I don't know about their personal lives LOL!

I don't think she's young, her writing doesn't lead me to believe that at all. She's great with her words...she just needs more description in there lol.

Yea, I'm not a fan of the fade to black (obv lol) unless I willingly go into it knowing that it's a T rated fic.

I'm not even sure 'monologue' is the correct term for this one....I'm having trouble articulating my issues with it. Just the fact that there were so many pages of no-progress simply b/c they wouldn't communicate annoyed me to no end. This is probably the first Bella that I've kinda wanted to

she is annoying me that badly.

That all said, I still haven't flounced. I do love this Jasper and the only thing keeping me in it is his character and his POV. And I'm waiting for the time when they have to face Edward again.

I do feel bad that I seem to have to turned you away, Matron... It's not a bad fic, well written as I said. Just seems to not be my cuppa tea I suppose.

ETA: It's her obsessive inner thoughts. That's what I was trying to say.

I kind of understand what you were saying. Sometimes its just kind of a background or what they are feeling. Other times it's a full on conversation or argument. And then sometimes it's something in between. Either way? A little is good, funny is better and too much is boredom.

It's....tastefully done (lol). Not p0rn graphic but not PBS worthy, either. It was a good lemon, but pretty much the only one. Sex is mentioned but again, glossed over.

I haven't read a 'real' book since I read the Twilight saga....over 3 years ago.

Well I'm still new enough to the fandom, but I manage to sneak in a regular book once every few weeks.

I'm almost done with Insecurities. It's pretty good, but I don't think it's going to go in my favorites list. I like my Jasper rougher, I like to see the cowboy come out. But the story is really good, Edward is quite the twat in this one.

Hmmm....I believe he is a bit of a twat here as well. But damn. That story and The Quiet Room are my top fav Jasper fics so far. Edward doesn't make an appearance in The Quiet Room which was a nice change from all his douchiness in the other fics.
