This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

No one catches you with an e-reader but they do with books. I like HEA but if the story is strong enough I can and do read non HEA.

I have and do read books where there is no way they could be a happy anything. I have just re-read Black Rain by Masuji Ibuse which is a moving, at times mildly amusing but happy - no - it is not a happy read a brilliant one though.

Books are my drug of choice. I tend to use them as an anti-depressant. Because even though you try to explain to your doctor that you are really depressed, they tend to not believe you when you smile. And I know it's my hormones, because I eventually got to the point where I could track it in relation to my period. So, I read HEAs as an anti-depressant.

I used to read a lot of horror and I love mysteries. They don't always have an HEA. But I have to read a lot of romances in between. And I rarely read any real angsty stuff because I usually have to close off to read them or I get really depressed.... Or I think the characters should commit suicide and save us all. Sigh. Yeah. I probably shouldn't say that....

According to her Facebook page the book will be available for puchase on Amazon on the October 28!! I added her as a friend on GR and was seriously fangirling when she accepted lol. You would think she invited me to her place for dinner lol

No, never read the Princess Bride, never seen the movie either, don't know if I'd find it here... They use it so much in fics, I'd love to see it...

I love to reread several books, reading them is kind of a tradition... For example I love to read some Donna Leon books during winter, because hot summer in Venice, just reading about it makes me sweat... and seeing the snow outside makes it even better, lol...
Or Winter Solstice by Rosamunde Pilcher is one of my christmas books, there happens next to nothing plotwise, but it's a fun story...
And I don't know how often I've read The Stand by Stephen King...

I Stephen King'd out before I read The Stand. After Carrie, Salem's Lot, Cujo, and a couple more I can't remember the names of? I had to sleep with the closet doors open... I quit reading major horror stories after that. But every so often, around Halloween, I feel the urge for a horror story....

I have a few I reread usually about the time I either really need a laugh, or the craving hits. Shanna by Kathleen Woodiweiss, The Royal (Whatever - I love all 3) by Mary Janice Davidson - and the early Betsy the vampire ones as well, some of Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan stories.... and then there are some Harlequins that I just love.

And now I have Fanfiction that I reread regularly. Like even though I really am loving the Gravity series, I really want to read Sexy Silk again...

Yes, aWhiteBlankPage (author of Pocket Change) is an aweasome writer. All her stories are so gripping and so compelling. Have you read her one-shot The Girl Who Jumped? It's a great story. No surprise that it won 1st prize for the FicThisGIF contest.

Yeah, I am due in March, and we were able to decide on our daughter's name pretty well together, so I'm not too worried.

He actually wanted the middle name to be Calrissian!?! I am all for unique names but not that.

Me and the hubby argued over names for Saxon (who I wanted to name Dexter but he refused as our surnames Morgan

) and our little angel Topanga-Sway, but he distracted me and got his way with Saxon so since then I've made it a point I name our kidlets and I'm really gonna fight to call our little girl Thomas as he's already chosen the middle name, so it's only fair.
I like the name Calrissian but for a girl though.

About to start work (TGIF!!!) and just wanted to comment on a few things
loopy - dang it girl, each story you tell about your husband is swoon worthy! he actually tells you to get and pays for your Rpatz posters?! Aww, what a sweetie... how long has it been since you mentioned his brothers? Are they ready/trained for astro? oh, right, it's only been months, dang it! Don't want any girl here going to jail for corrupting a minor

Lol, it's not like the hubby doesn't get anything in return though.

Though he has spoiled me this week by making our out house/playroom into a two story playroom - it's great fun as it means that we can go into the basement for stuff that's a bit more "hardcore".

As for the hubby's brothers - I've just spent the past week or so with my favourite (don't tell the other 8 I said that

) and his boyfriend (as they refuse to call each other fiance as it's too "straight"

) Tux shopping for their wedding as I'm their maid of honour.
I've been hating every single second of it as I detest shopping of any shape or form and we are talking about someone who got married in a FSoG T-shirt and Jeans and the hubby was in his favourite Iron Maiden T-shirt and jeans.

I'm afraid the other 8 are either attached to someone or too young (even though the eldest of the youngest is 17 which is legal in the UK) still for y'all.
