This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

I finished reading this last night and enjoyed it despite the summary.

I loved Rose and James in this one and Tanya is fantastic. It was well written and worth a read.

Ya, I read this too and I agree it is pretty good. So, I finished reading a couple of stories that I thought I would give my review on for all of you.

First: Silver Bay » by whiterosenova reviews
After Bella's boyfriend dies, she is sent away to a school for 'troubled' students. There she finds that she is part of a legend, destined to be part of a family that protects others. Supernatural, future lemons*

This was recommended by someone on here, and I enjoyed it. It does have some SPaG errors, but most were pretty minor, like typing find instead of fine but there weren't really that many, and didn't bother me. I would say it is a good read.

I also purchased and finished reading Lissa Bryan's The End of All Things. WOW, the chapters are super long, but it was a very good story. It was very realistic I feel it was worth my $7.99 USD from TWCS to get the ebook. Can't remember the last time I read something other than twilight fanfiction before this. How sad is that? Maybe I need a support group for help........................................na.

I was expecting the unicorn as well, if I was good with graphics I would make the unicorn pole dance just to be more horrifying.

I was expecting the unicorn as well, if I was good with graphics I would make the unicorn pole dance just to be more horrifying.

I actually find the one of "him" holding the baby more disturbing than the unicorn - but then again, I'm the one taking pretty pink pills now!

So is there something going on with Calibre? I haven't been here for the last few pages so I don't know, but I can't download anything.

I just tried it and it's working for me.

There is also yet another update - check that you're running the latest versions.

My Calibre is Version 1.8 and the newest Fanfiction DL is Version 1.7.51 - I'm doing that update right now.

OMG, I've loads of catching up to do - 18 pages in 5 day!!!
Anyhoo, just wanted to say Hi before I get started.

I hope that all my lovely peeps from the UK weren't affected to badly by the storm - which is the reason why I've not been on here, as we had no electric for 2 1/2 days!!

And also my poor neighbour was injured while making sure all the animals was safe, so I've been helping him out on the farm (not only do I sound like a farmer, I'm turning into one!!

)
Anyway, I'm back so I'm gonna trek through those 18 pages - wish me luck.

Thanks for all the um lovely pictures. Sigh. Now if only someone could find that nice picture of Ehd holding the pig. I thought I had it, but it wasn't in my RPattz picture folder. And trying to find it in the millions of files on the computer? Yeah, don't have that kind of time right now....

That was an epic page. Thanks to Astro for rising to the challenge and Booked for posting the link back to it! I love the Scotch 69 "sex tape". heh heh.

I wasn't in the mood for mercward after all and decided to start drotuno's Angel series and am completely sucked in. Thanks Ella! I'm about half way through the first book!

And lastly, Happy Halloween and thanks for sharing pics of my favorite vamp--even if he has a horn on his head!

I just wrote a whole response to this and it disappeared! Anyway, I felt the same way! I almost didn't read it because of the summary, but deranged_dreamer said it was worth the read and I thought I'd give it a shot! The opening A/N, which says

, gave me what I needed to read it despite my complete aversion to ever reading a cheater fic. I was completely sucked into the story by the opening chapters. The rest of the story was a nice combo of angst and romance with just a smidge of drama. Nicely written. I'm glad you enjoyed it too.
