This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

It's 2 am, had a couple of beers, a few glasses of Bailey's, pizza and chips with hubs and friends. Went to bed to read a few more chapters of Smoke and Mirror ... the lemons, the #69 and alcohol inspired me to watch a short Johnny Castle clip before calling it a day. Not a bad halloween night

I wasn't in the mood for mercward after all and decided to start drotuno's Angel series and am completely sucked in. Thanks Ella! I'm about half way through the first book!

No, though I do love Angel from Buffy or Angel. But I was talking about Drotuno's Broken Angel series. It is semi-canon. The vamps are pretty much canon, but Edward comes back 2 years later. Jake is not the nice guy of Twilight. There is some angsty things. And the connection is more than just the mate thing.

I really enjoyed it. Though the lemons got skimmed a bit after a while. If you like lemons though? They are pretty hot.

Ya, I read this too and I agree it is pretty good. So, I finished reading a couple of stories that I thought I would give my review on for all of you.

First: Silver Bay » by whiterosenova reviews

This was recommended by someone on here, and I enjoyed it. It does have some SPaG errors, but most were pretty minor, like typing find instead of fine but there weren't really that many, and didn't bother me. I would say it is a good read.

I also purchased and finished reading Lissa Bryan's The End of All Things. WOW, the chapters are super long, but it was a very good story. It was very realistic I feel it was worth my $7.99 USD from TWCS to get the ebook. Can't remember the last time I read something other than twilight fanfiction before this. How sad is that? Maybe I need a support group for help........................................na.

I also read this book..The End of All Things and couldn't believe how good it was! Glad too know you enjoyed it too.

I am about 30 seconds from flouncing and it got 4.36 on GR.

So I was just perusing new realeases and came across a new bundle...for a trilogy of 21,675 words!

Speaking on behalf of all of those who've complained about books being diced up into too many parts...WTF? A trilogy??? That's a two-shot at MOST. I think not.

I also read this book..The End of All Things and couldn't believe how good it was! Glad too know you enjoyed it too.

I liked how realistic it was. I could totally see it happening in real life and loved the ending

You so should hun - it's one of those series that even when you re-read you don't get bored and skim any of them.
I'm loving the 4th one in this series - Fire & Ice and it's being updated regularly so yay.

I just started reading Freeway by whiterosenova. I am liking it so far. I think what I will do is wait until #4 is closer to being finished then, go on a reading marathon and start at the first and read them all in sequence.

Just thought I'd drop in to let you all know that I am indeed alive and kicking. Currently still in the middle of writing my thesis (with a change of topic, I'm now looking at the evolution and development of the use of the term "Aussie" in print media across the two world wars).

I was rather seriously ill for quite a while not long ago and as a result my thesis is now due on the 6th of December, so I won't be around until at least then (

), if not a tad longer. I hope everyone is well, I miss chatting here and can't wait to catch up on everything that has gone on.
