Seems like we have similar tastes. Since I read and liked all the ones you loved, I decided to give Glycerine a go because I hadn't read it yet. Glad I did! A lot more angst than I am used to, but a well written and planned story. I had mixed feelings during the first half since this actorward is such an a$$hole and Bella's not much better, but I'm glad I stuck with it. My only wish would have been for an epilogue--after all the angst it would have been great to see a little more of their HEA. When I just checked her profile I realized that I had read her one-shot The Periodic Table as an entry for the Dirty Talking Edward contest, which I had really liked. I may have even voted for it. I think I may have to check out another of her stories.

Me too! This is the first grandkid/great grandkid that's a boy on the husbands side of the family so they are super excited.

(although I'd like to trade my youngest for a goldfish atm, lol)

Just finished it. Book 1 was better IMO.  On to the 3 rd book.

I beta for Redtini - I started about halfway through How to Date a Movie Star.  You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login - most of her stuff has been moved to TWCS or FictionPad as she got one of those "We're watching you" notices.  So she pulled rather than get pulled.

I also beta for MizzDee - Though I only do her An Eternity to Love.  It is a vampfic.  Bella and Edward grew up together and Bella ran away after Edward "died" and eventually got changed.  It's a little old fashioned to fit with the times.  I enjoy it though it was a little slow moving for me. (read as it seemed to take forever for B & E to find each other!)  Okay, I get a chapter a month.  So yeah, forever! I'm sure if you read it in one go? And finally, I beta for BellaC874 - she only has the one - Baby Blues.  Bella and Edward were high school sweethearts but broke up when she tells him she's pregnant.  Bella disappears.  This starts when she comes back with a two year old child.  I think this one is almost done. It has a nice little mystery in it.  Edward is mostly sweet, but you find out what happened about 2/3 of the way through.  This is her first story, so the writing style needs some help and unfortunately, I'm probably not the best beta for it.  Her idea is really good, but it gets a little bogged down in the day to day stuff.  Overall, though, it is a nice little story.   You are not allowed to view links. OK, I was walking around the grocery store today, minding my own business, spending as much of hubby's money as possible  , when I look up and on one of those check-out stand gossip mags it says Rob P. and the Twit are getting married… (and no, I don't believe everything I read, but just the thought turned my stomach!)

What a way to take the joy out of spending money…

Yeah, no.  I think they may eventually get back to being friends, but I don't see them getting back together.  From everything I've heard, it was never a big love story anyway.  *hides from the Robsten fans*

OMG, OMG, OMG - When I grab all the stories by one author on FFN, Calibre now grabs all that author's favorites, too!  I'm ROLLING in stories on my calibre list!  I think I'm going to go grab all of YOUR favorites, too!

This is amazing.  I will have to go try it out.  Last time I wanted to grab stuff in an author's favorites, I had to do that right click thing that picks up all the URLs.  It works okay, but most of the time it picks up 2 of the same story, so 100 stories shows up as 200.  It only actually grabs the 100.  But hard to see what I'm getting.
