They supposedly crashed during internal maintenance. There were rumors of hacking but the group that "supposedly" claimed to do it officially said they didn't hack it. And Dropbox says they caused the crash.

So hopefully it is all still there.

I got up yesterday to a message of a corrupted file from Dropbox and my security software all screwed up and spent the whole day deleting and reinstalling it and purchased additional malware protection...I hope this isn't connected. I have avoided using remote storage for years, joining Dropbox was a big chance for me, if I find the is connected I may delete my account.

I've been using Dropbox for a couple of years now with no problems, but I think I'll take this opportunity to back the files up to Copy or something, since that's where I have the most space.

Well, when all the manga I put in there yesterday finishes indexing or whatever the heck it's doing.

I tried to read this but I just couldn't get past Bella being 18... Then Edward is a doctor at 26 and has a part time as the town mayor? or something, I'm no expert in how long it takes to became a doctor but I sure as hell don't think that's right. But maybe it gets better.

its quite possible... If I had any encouragement.... started college at 16 ... 4 yrs, then 4 yrs med school and 2 residency.... yep coulda..

I'm so annoyed with a story I read today, I wish I would flounce more often, but I hoped till the end... nah, didn't get better... $:-\$

Bella is divorced and heartbroken. Lonely and broken four years later she is in a tragic accident. Can her Greek god heal ALL of her wounds? OOC/Cannon pairings. Rated M for lemons! Lots of lemons...

It could be a decent story, really, although I couldn't like Bella or Edward... Bella was whiney and seemed to enjoy her drama too much and Edward was a bit creepy - their instalove (again...) was weird...

But what me really ticked me off were the inconsistencies... Like (I don't quote but summarize) "We had a great party and I got to know his sister Alice and older brother Emmett" - two chapters later: "Bella, this is Emmett, his wife Rosalie is the sister of Alice's husband Jasper..." or, even worse: in the beginning: "Carlisle and Esme celebrated their engagement and I was conceived, they fought and only got back together when I was 5 months old" later: "I'm not a bastard! My mom and dad were happily married when I was born..."

and so on... so many plot holes... it's like she didn't have a plan and never reread her older chapters...

but something like that annoys me.

I will reread some fluff now, at least then I know what I get...

OT Question Here:

Does anyone know what happened to FLAG? I can no longer access the website, it's been down for days, and Steve hasn't posted anything on Twitter since the 5th. I was trying to grab a story on TWCS, but can't even log onto his site. Did he just give up and shut down? He always used to respond to emails or tweets, and now he doesn't. Just curious if anyone has heard anything? Thanks!

Did you ever get an answer to this as I too haven't been able to access this site...since I can't figure out all the new download directions I rely on Flag and this site for my downloads. Thanks Paula

Hello ALL!! Belated Marry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

Oh how I've missed you all. Even since I finished my thesis life has not slowed down! Horses and such keeping me super busy. I've missed so much around here!

I hope all of you living where those storms are are suffering the cold okay! I probably won't be around much next week as it is due to be 39-41 (103-106) degrees all week and I have to be bushfire ready, as well as that I think the electronics might just meltdown.

And Loopy, your little Dior is so gorgeous! Congratulations, she is precious!

That Greek God "joke" is getting so old... If one more person mentions it in a summary, I'm reporting that sh!t.

Also, just finished my paper due today. I haven't slept in 37 hours (napped between 3am and 4am last night) and I am so aggitated. Also, haven't eaten anything besides tost. SO much tost. Gonna have a hot bath and sleep forever.

I am also crying over FLAG not working and Sherlock's last episode.

I am so NOT ok, need sleep.

As you can see if you look at the title of my story the word whore is being censured out. I came to TWCS to write whatever I wanted without really having to worry about "rules". But this is not my site and if thats the rules thats the rules.

I've been asked to "fix" my banner and I rather not since it would look really silly to me or my story could get deleted. In light of this news I will not be posting any futher chapters here and will take down my banner. I do plan to keep the story going however.

For some reason Fanfiction is not opposed to the word Whore which is odd because it was the fanfic police that made me come here. So I will keep posting on fanfiction until they censure me as well. I'm thinking of starting another blog for all my other stories as well.

I do have another chapter I was writing for this story when I got the email to change my banner. So I should have a chapter up in the next day or so on fanfiction. (Ps. it maybe too hot and fanfiction will give me the boot.) Which is why the blog is important for me to make.

I will ONLY finish Deep Six on this sight. My name is Ruthlessly Yours on fanficiton...follow the story there for updates again there WILL be a new chapter this coming week!

I'm sorry! Thank you all for reading and rating. Please don't give this note half coffee cups it drags the whole story down.

I didn't think TWCS did stuff like that. That's why you have to sign in to read so they can make sure you are old enough.

Yes it is a WIP. I haven't read it yet either, but I have been following it to wait until it is complete. I have to say, that it sucks that TWCS is doing this. I mean, really?? I won't be surprised if she ends up moving all of her stories to a blog like she suggested.

I'm so glad you both are doing so well! Time went by fast didn't it? Did you find out if your having a girl of boy? I have 106 days left give or take 10 days also. For some reason I'm measuring about 4 weeks ahead (it's not possible for our dates to be off) so I have a ultrasound to check everything out next week, I'm not sure what this means I had problems finding a new coat, I couldn't find one that would fit for a few months. So my awesome mom bought me a cloak/cape for Christmas it has armholes too. The comfiest thing ever

So, Andiemoe, how did the ultrasound go? Did you find out if you were having twins?

Yeah since you HAVE to be sign in to read some material I guess someone was offended by the title. And it was exactly the title that drew me to follow it as well as the author.

Yeah since you HAVE to be sign in to read some material I guess someone was offended by the title. And it was exactly the title that drew me to follow it as well as the author.

So, I went to TWCS to see if there was an email address or something that I could email in to complain to them about what they are doing to this author, and found this:

What are the specifications for banners or pictures that I can post in my story?

There are not a lot of restrictions regarding banners and pictures. The main restriction is that banners or pictures in summaries cannot contain nudity or foul language. Summaries are not age restricted and have to be friendly for all ages. Please keep in mind when you post banners/pictures to your chapters the rating of your story. T and K rated sotries follow the same restrictions as the summaries. You have more freedom with the banners/pictures you are allowed to post in stories that are rated M and NC-17. Please use this freedom wisely. We reserve the right to remove pictures at any time.

The system only allows pictures up to the size of 800x800. It also does not like strange file names (i.e. file names with spaces in it).

Interesting........The word "Whore" clearly violates their guidelines, but I don't get what the big deal is when the story is rated NC-17, people underage wouldn't likely be able see this anyway. Right?

Well, under Help, there is an option to email the site administrators. I have emailed them that I think that this is unfair and that I am disappointed. Maybe if enough of us email them, they will change the rules? Ok, probably not, but it's worth a try.

Wow, so TWCS admins are on the ball. I have already gotten a response back from them. This is what they replied to me with:

Titles, Banners, and summaries are viewable on search engine/internet and on site searches as well as by anyone without being signed into the site. You can logout and do a search to see this for yourself. At no time did we ask her to edit her chapters. We moved the one banner with partial nudity into chapter 1 of her story and asked her to edit any remaining banners to be age appropriate. As per the site rules,

4: Please use good judgement with story titles, summaries, & banners posted in summaries, as these can be viewed by members of all ages. Titles and/or summaries that include adult language or "lemons," and banners that are too adult in nature, include nudity, or include strongly adult language WILL BE EDITED OR DELETED without notice! Anything showing breasts, butts, penis, etc cannot be in your main story banner/summary area. Reasonable bathing suits are fine (no thongs). You are MORE than welcome to put them in your chapters since you have to be logged in AND have age certification statements checked. Any words stronger than damn, to include but not limited to derogatory names for men or women, cannot be in your title.

Authors can post any banner/picture and/or language within the chapters as they like, but the publicly viewable information has to be age appropriate for all ages as we do have 13-17 year olds on the site.

Totally makes sense now.

But he only married Tanya to buy her father's company. So they aren't actually together So that explains the mistress thing.
