This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general.  But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

Don't convert them until they are marked finished by the author. Once they are complete... then convert them to whatever format you use (I use Mobi as I have a Kindle). 

If you convert them before all the chapters are posted then the converted version will only have what was posted at the time of conversion. So... don't convert until it is is complete. 

IF you already converted it and since then more chapters have posted and now it is a completed fic/story, then convert again to whatever file you use. It will replace your old converted missing chapter version with the new one when you do that.

I have no self-control.  I put dinner on to cook but I was so hungry I couldn't wait.   I ordered a Chinese for myself and hubs, it was delicious. We will have tonight's dinner tomorrow. 

In my search for good fic I have found that most are AH.  I've read some good AH, but it's Twilight! I want the Cullens to be vamps!

I did find a pretty decent one about R/J.

Have you read Drotuno's Broken Angel series? Really good vamps. Always an HEA. I will try to link but on my phone it end up in weird places. Like above the comment. Sigh. Stupid phone.

Soooo, Edward's Eternal just started a new Actorward fic where Edward is an adorkable Brit. So cute. I'm in love already. Bella is his housekeeper and friend. She was (is still?) married to James who ran off with everything. So she went to work for Edward.

Edward is written how you might picture Rob to be like. For you WIP-phobes, EE is usually good with updates

There's probably too many veggies for him. He likes meat and potatoes. And Italian. It took forever to get him to try sushi.

And I think when he was based in Korea for a year or two, he had some bad experiences with food. So it reminds him of that.

I feel for you.  I have been craving Chinese for a couple of days before I just gave in.

I really liked this sweet story. The author has deleted all her stories from FFN and is now publishing OF.

I thought this high school fic was okay. Actually, the fic was pretty good, but the epilogue (which was a third of the fic length) went on so long that I lost much of my interest in the story. If you skip the epi, it was a good fic if you like HS fics. I think the author P2P.

I enjoyed the last story by Edward'sEternal so much that I started reading the installments on this one as soon as they popped up.  Edward is very adorkable and clueless.  I haven't figured out if Bella is equally clueless yet.  So far she just seems very nurturing.

I don't know if you have seen this, but hunterhunting is publishing Clipped Wings and Inked Armor.  In installments, of course.  Oh, how I hate serial books!

I still haven't got past the first chapter on that one. So I'm not sure I'll be buying it.

And can I say I really miss those big long books with a little bit of everything in them. Okay they were mostly romance or Sci Fi or whatever. But they all had angst, drama, action, and comedic relief. And now you just can't find them anywhere. Writers seem to go for these short little stories that just don't provide the entertainment they used to. And then they wonder why people aren't buying books as much anymore. And they are 3 or 4 books long. Maybe they think people don't want to read anything that isn't episodic I guess. Sigh.  And maybe they are out there but I'm just not seeing them?
