Oh my goodness... I seriously can't even imagine!  I would have been traumatized for life if I didn't get more Alexander and Tatiana!

I know?! It was just the times, everything just took longer to filter down, if at all. I had no idea that TBH wasn't going to be a stand alone book.  You know how you ladies are all about the HEA?...Well, it was a kick in the head, let me tell you!

I decided I needed to have closure from Outlander before I started to read the bronze horseman.
It's just too much heartache for my poor fragile heart. I'm one of the HEAs girl.
I just started Drangonfly. Diana GAlbadon is lucky she didn't write it as fanfic. I would explode her email with reviews saying "why?" " how could you?" " don't you like your characters? Your readers?"

Yes, I must have my HEA!  Simply must!  I just can't imagine.  I would have went and hid under a rock and never to see the light of day again.

Yes, I would definitely get your Outlander closure before you embark on the journey with Tatiana and Alexander!  I think I would probably even read a good bit of fluff before you move on to TBH.  Those are both such heavy books.     I read the first 5 Outlander books and for some reason never finished the series.   How many are there total?

You could always go visit with her on her facebook page.  I know she has one because she announced the actor who was playing Jamie in the movie version there.  I can't give you the link, though.  Maybe demaris has it.

I think she's up to 7 or 8 now.  I've read them all, but stopped keeping track of the numbers.  She might have a new one out or coming out soon, though.  I've even read some of the spin-off books featuring John Gay...er...Gray (Freudian slip there).

I've only read the first Outlander book, but  I AM looking forward to the tv series this summer. I think it's this summer anyway. Anyone else planning to watch it?

How are the John Gray books? Since I read a lot of MM, I've thought about checking those out, but I haven't done it yet.

Oh I didn't know it was going to be a tv series...   I thought it was going to be a movie.  I'm definitely looking forward to watching it!

I thought it was going to be a movie, too.  They're pretty tame from a sexual POV.  There is some mention of MM activities in brothels, but that's all it is, a mention.  I haven't read them all, though.

Making my way through the "pulled to publish" Twilight fanfiction list and came upon Swimming Against The Tide by pbswimmer. Has anyone else read it?

AU/AH Edward and Bella are 17 year-old swimmers whose families create waves in their lives. The story is a military murder mystery spanning from high school to college. Welcome to Swimward and Swimella!

It's been uploaded and added to the index. I'm going through all the cover art for these stories and judging them like I would a real book, by the cover and summary  ;D I loved it and can definitely see how others might suggest to publish this story. It came with a trigger warning of abuse and rape, but I still decided to continue on since I was hooked from the first chapter. This story KILLED ME. I read it on Saturday and was completely wrecked by the time I finished. I cry over anything but rarely do I cry when reading fanfiction, but I was in bed weeping. I think this was possibly the sweetest teenage Edward I've read and I just wanted to give this character a huge hug. This author did such a good job weaving each point of view into the plot so everything was cohesive and smooth. Sometimes it drives me insane when there are multiple point of views from each character going over the same situation, but this one was so nice. This story also had a big mystery going into it so it was like each character had a separate puzzle piece and by the end of the story everything was in place. So good!

I also really enjoyed Fix You by Chocaholic123, which is also uploaded in the index! Right now I'm finishing up Cocktails and Dreams by whynot aka fatally obsessed, which is good. But sooooo long. Nearly 600 pages of the day to day happenings in a relationship spanning 4 months.

Now I'm slowly making my way through the rest of the stories that seem to have an interesting summary. Half of them suck.

Yep, tv series on Starz. I don't have Starz, so this is yet another show I'll have to download to watch.

And there was the amnesia line.

:D :D :D I read a WW2 fic thinking it sounded similar to one of my favorite books and movies, A Very Long Engagement You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

But that was not the case. The amnesia plot is so common, but I wish some amazing writer would go a Twilight/A Very Long Engagement fic because it's the best tale ever and of course ends on a happy note.

I just noticed that Into the Grey House was pulled, and the author (pdd912) deleted her twitter. She'd just started updating again in the last year:( Does anyone know why it was pulled? Is she planning to finish it & publish?

Shuttering and shuddering yes, but juddering? That was a new one for me.  Yes, it's real.

Btw, DD, I can relate on wanting to comment after each chapter in a real book. I think the most hysterical read was a published fic ...in the middle of the story "Bella's" name was used, they forgot to change it. Can't remember name of fic

I heard she is not nice to readers who have a different opinion from her. Apparently she used to go into a message board forum and chew their heads off!

Any particular ward you prefer?  Like for me, I will read almost any Actorward.
Are you talking lemons when you say hot?  Light and fluffy? Angsty?

I'm on my phone so linking is hard. But I like drotuno's stories for drama and lemons. Though her stories tend to get long.

Judder is to shake rapidly or forcibly, but it is usually used in terms of mechanical objects, like "the car juddered to a halt." Maybe it's a Britishism, because it doesn't seem an alien word to me, other than when used to describe a persons movement, it makes him sound like a washing machine lol.
