I hope you are all keeping safe in this weird weather that we are having, unfortunately we lost our house, car etc in the floods and our village had to be evacuated by Marines.

So the only plus side is (much to the hubby's amusement) I was felt up by a Marine while they were trying to help us into the life boat. 
We are now staying at my in-laws, which is weird as I've not lived with any parents since I moved out of home at 15. So it means and the hubby have to be even more discrete than usual as his Mum and Dad are in the next room.l     

Right, I'm going to go back and read the 20 pages I need to catch up on. 

Loopy Lou!  I'm so glad to read your post and know that  you're OK, I think the government is going to pick up any slack that the insurance company doesn't cover...I watch PMQs religiously and he (Cameron) also mentioned it in a press conference, it might be for repairs though rather than mortgages cover...

Anyhoo, on a lighter note, no matter how bad things get there's always pics of Rob to drool at.

I decided I needed to have closure from Outlander before I started to read the bronze horseman.

I just started Drangonfly. Diana GAlbadon is lucky she didn't write it as fanfic. I would explode her email with reviews saying "why?" " how could you?" " don't you like your characters? Your readers?"

You could always go visit with her on her facebook page.  I know she has one because she announced the actor who was playing Jamie in the movie version there.  I can't give you the link, though.  Maybe demaris has it.


I think she's up to 7 or 8 now.  I've read them all, but stopped keeping track of the numbers.  She might have a new one out or coming out soon, though.  I've even read some of the spin-off books featuring John Gay...er...Gray (Freudian slip there).

Errr? OK, this post just confused me...who is Diana Galbadon and why would I have her Facebook link?  Who is John Gray?! Ladies take pity on me..you know I suffer from alzheimer's!

Yep, tv series on Starz. I don't have Starz, so this is yet another show I'll have to download to watch.

There's nothing I love more than authors writing Edward with cats! Just finished Hideous Cygnus by savannavansmutsmut, which was all over the place but totally redeemed with Edward's little Cat Daddy plot  I know Edward Wallbanger and Sideline Collision both have kitties in them. Have any of you come across any more?

Does the cat have to belong to Edward? There is Catwoman by Counselor. I think Edward might have initially been trying to kill these cats (which I'll admit I applauded  *runs and hides*)

Diana Gabaldon is the author for the Outlander series...   John Gray is one of the characters in the books, right? One of Jaime's old friends?  I haven't read it in forever...

Yep, John Gray got his own spin off series, which I haven't read.

I started reading Copy Room...   thanks to the ones who recommended that! It's really good so far!

I'm reading two WIPs right now that have me longing for updates.  One is My Ex-con by counselor and the other is Power Play by CaraNo.  For those of you with WIPhobia, at least these two writers are pretty reliable with updates.  Cara has flaked out on a couple of stories, but is generally reliable.  I think counselor is very reliable.  Anyhow, both these stories are pushing my 'what's going to happen next?  I need to know now!' and 'What happened before to put there where they are now?' buttons.

I really should watch more TV instead of having sex, I used to do both at the same time but the hubby stopped that after he caught me watching Uncle Buck (funny as it rhymed with what we were doing  ) instead of putting any effort in to our "activities" 

I FLOVE The Workshop, I've read it several times and I'm an emotional wreck by the end of it each time . 
I agree with you hun - it's got one of the few Bella's in that I actually like. 

Ooh, where did you find the compilation? I'm half way through Outlander, which was called Cross Stitch in the UK, wondered if it was cheaper than downloading all the books individually.

It is, but only for members of the press...to get them up to speed if they haven't read them before book 8 is released. It has all sorts of tracking and passwords protection in the link she sent me but she get away with it because I am a member of the press....it helps that her boss is also a mate 

I'm finally getting round to reading Glycerine. I know it finished months ago and I was so looking forward to it but...anyway hope it lives up to my expectations.
