I was going to read it but I kept hearing how angsty it was. I can do some angst, but sometimes I find it more annoying than sad. Let me know what you think. 

What are we taking about, Outlander or Glycerine? I'm only about four chps in of Glycerine but so far at least Bella is holding on to her knickers..but I swear to god if she loses them before chap 10 I'll strangle someone!!

I read through book 5 but the last couple were hard for me to get through just because they were just so wordy.   I mean, you can read for days and they'll still be walking up the same hill.   I'm only slightly exaggerating.  The books are awesome, but sometimes there was a little too much detail on the surroundings etc.   I felt like i had to read for a week before something actually happened.    I'll definitely be watching the tv version of this though because I love the story and Jaime!

I'm finally getting round to reading Glycerine. I know it finished months ago and I was so looking forward to it but...anyway hope it lives up to my expectations.

I can't wait to hear what you think about Glycerine.  I've got it up high on my TBR list which I'll mention I've got whittled down to 45!

I enjoyed Glycerine but than I enjoy all her work.

It's 1 O'clock in the morning here and it sounds like the wind is trying to uproot all the trees.  Scary stuff.

Fire/earthquakes/floods/RL aside, which I know we all have to contend with, I was more surprised that she just threw an update out without an AN, ya know? Apologising for the long delay or explaining if she's now back til the story completes or if this is just that she was constipated and so worked on a chapter while she sat on the toilet; nothing! Nada! It doesn't really matter to me because there is no way in hell I'm reading Faithfully til she pushes the Complete button but for those who are reading it as a WIP it might help to know if they'll get to the end of the story in this life-time...

So far I don't hate it, that's the most I can say....  But what I find highly entertaining is the character deviation.

It was strange that she didn't write an A/N.  I wonder if she had someone else post it for her?  I do remember someone talking to her afterwards and she did say she would finish eventually.  But at that time she didn't know when.  So it was never considered abandoned. 


Okay, those not afraid of WIPs - Drotuno is doing another Vampward story and it looks good so far.  It is a little AU, but too much - so far no really weird stuff.

I enjoyed it too, on the whole. Well I must have, it's 05.45 GMT and I've stayed awake to finish it. I was mightily relieved that the author took the time to switch it up a little and role reversed the 'goodies' and 'baddies' and left some people out of it completely! There is angst but I think I've become immune unless it's gut-wrenching and this isn't, not for an angstyhoor like me...this is more lots of 'drama' and miscommunication, though this Jerkward is pretty jerky all the way through and Bella....well, she's Bella, what can ya do? Personally I preferred Glass House but Glycerine is worth the read. 3.5-ish*

I am relieved to report none of us blew away last night but it was touch and go there for a bit.  There are some pretty fierce gust still blowing, so lets hope I haven't spoken too soon.   


I agree with your analysis of both Glycerine & Glass House but I'd give Glycerine a 3.80

I'm looking for Savanablue's stories. I went to her profile on FF but I just one that's incomplete and on hiatus. I was wondering if someone was able to save the other ones.

Also, I'm looking for Sickward stories, kind of like "Dead on my feet", "Grand Jete", "C-5-6" and all those. I love those stories.

And finally, there was a story someone told me about a couple of weeks ago about Actorward-Sickward, but even in the FB group can't find it!

Requests for stories are properly posted on the 152 thread - I know you posted there first.  The request for recommendations is properly posted here.  We found it was a little easier to do it that way for tracking purposes.  At least it helps Ficfangirl in updating the lovely Index of stories she created.

So, any Savanablue stories anyone has should be posted over there.  And? Unfortunately, I don't have any of them.  I normally pull complete stuff only.  At least, before when she was posting. And I don't think she had any complete stuff. 

I don't know of any sick Actorward stories.  And you have all the other ones I do know.  Hopefully someone can rec something else.

I've read the Brokenward stories like Wide Awake and Loner.  Both were good stories where Edward has more mental issues.  I don't know if that is something you are interested in...

There are a list of Brokenward here - you can see if any of these look good.  I've had very good luck with rec's from the Twibrary as far as being good stories.  Though I don't know if I would rec the Tufano story only because her writing can be annoying after a while.
