I think they tried to do a call center comedy a couple years ago.  I don't think it lasted more than a month or two.  It wasn't that funny. 

I like watching the house hunting shows, the cooking competitions and the find the dress (bridal type) shows. Because I like looking at houses and bridal gowns.  And I wish I could cook.  Though I watch Hoarders as aversion therapy.  It makes me want to throw stuff out and clean the floor again.   *shudders*  oh wait, *shutters* 
 

I can't do reality show; no kind of reality shows...Oh wait? Does the Real Wives of Atlanta count? Because I love me some NeNe Leaks! That's the only one I watch and certainly nothing made in the UK! I like my 'madness' to take place as far away from home as possible (can't get any further than Atlanta!), that way I can shake my head, tut and say 'Yanks!'        jk!

I seem to spend a lot of time watching reality TV shows. 

I like Master Chef, Gator Boys, Duck Dynasty, Counting Cars, Gold Diggers and The Deadliest Catch.  I also watch a lot of A League of Their Own.

These are usually on in the background whilst I am reading - Hubs likes them too.

I absolutely cannot stand Big Brother though.

I'm not bailing you out - same Country or not!   

So after she makes millions from it, she now hates it? Yeah, I'm thinking it may be true that she is over it, just like JK Rowling is over Harry Potter and trying to write something else. But I think if she had to do it again? She would still do it.

And really, where would Rob and Kristen be if they hadn't starred in the movie.  Neither has had much film success since.  When you really think about it. Having the money from Twilight allows them to do the low budget stuff they like also.   Yeah, fame sucks.  But if you want to be a famous actor/actress, it's a given.  Change careers if you don't like it.

Sorry, some of the "poor me" stuff annoys me.

And the books were badly written.  But then when she first wrote them? no one thought they were worth spending any more time editing them to make them better. I'm sure the publishers were actually shocked at how well the series did.   And the best part? We wouldn't have all this great fanfiction if the books were better written.  Because it is so easy to write better than Twilight.

You are right about all the above (silly kids moaning about getting to do what the f u c k they like all day, every day, I certainly don't feel sorry for them, neither of their talent is particularity awe inspiring, a Pacino/De Niro the Pretty is not). But does the initial story have to be bad, for the fan fiction to be any good (having never read anything but twifics I'm asking this from real curiosity), what bout Hunger Game fanfics and Walking Dead etc?....

Twi is the only fanfic I read, but I don't think the original has to be bad, just a world where authors think maybe there could be more (hopefully better) stories set in. Like all the Pride & Prejudice fanfics. I don't think the original there was bad...

Sometimes the shows can be pretty freaky, which I like. I've seen Haunted Collector a couple of times and wondered if he's just trying to build his own funky collection  "Yes, this is the problem item, so I'm going to take it from you and set it up at my shop."
