And it would be nice to read some good fics too.

I can find stories that have original plot and I am reading along happy as can be. Then a comment comes up about the meadow or other cheesy twilight reference and those have made me cringe on occasion. I do like to mix up books. It's like cleaning my palate. I have no preconceived notions.

That kills a fic for me - twi-stereotypes, overuse of twi-references. Pixie Alice, Dumb Emmett, compulsive shopping, refusal of gifts, blue dresses, meadows, red trucks, bimbo Renee, lip biting, hair clutching, etc.

I'm reading more books - mixing it up a bit too, but I keep coming back to fanfics.

and if we are gonna cruise back to 2009, we cannot skip GQ.

I will always have a soft place in my heart for 2009. This is where I discovered Rob and flipped the f*ck out and went coo coo like a teenager. Blogging, reading, just going absolute bonkers. Hope this helped bb. After 2009, WFE look took me for a spin. Short sides and long on top is what hubs wears. It goes back to the military thing all those decades ago. I like it long enough on top to grab a good handfull. rawrrrrrr.

I'm on a road trip with my daughter this week, to get her back to school and her boyfriend.  I've at the worst internet service in this hotel room.  Why did I leave home without a hotspot?!  Anyway, you won't see much of me for the next few days, so behave yourselves! 

Is it just me, or does anyone else feel a little like a teenage kid when Mum and Dad go away for a weekend?

I thought I was the only one that skipped them. I never used to. But I just can't read them. I have been able to in some of the books I'm reading lately. But even then I sometimes skim.

I barely read them anymore. Unless its a funny fic that they will end up being interrupted. Or Edward can't get it up. That I haven't seen yet.

I think this will forever be my favourite movie kiss.

I much prefer a great kissing scene to a rough sex scene.

His kisses look so good on screen! I'm not quite sure if I'd like him to kiss me though in reality. His kissing looks a little bit...sloppy... (is this the right word?) I like my kisses firm and not too wet. 

Oh no - you always need just a tiny bit of lubrication!
