This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

Okay, here is a place to discuss what you are reading, ask for recommendations and complain about the writing.

Is it bad to say that I have only seen 1 other movies of RP's besides the Twilight series and that was Remember me. . I guess i have some movie watching to do.

I saw Bel Ami on some movie channel. About the time it came out in Theaters too. It was strange that it was on. But what the heck. Lots of naked Rob. Otherwise it was an okay movie. I'm more of an Action/Adventure or Romantic Comedy person. I have trouble sitting through a full movie otherwise.

The advantage to working at home and owning a DVR? I tend to catch up when I'm working. Though sometimes I have to go back and rewatch stuff. Mostly I listen and look up once in a while.

If I watched a movie at 10 pm? I would be asleep before 15 minutes past....

You might try Breakaway Bella by Hoodfabulous. Strong Bella (though not as strong as in the Gravity series or ToH) and possessive Edward.

I'm reading Cooking with Fire, which has a strong Bella, but also has an Alice on crack, big brother bear Emmett and many other cliches. I think I'm going to give TGV a shot when I'm done.

the story just didn't do it for me. It might of been Hoods first FF, I'm not sure, so I didn't think the writing was up to par for her. But TGV might do in a pinch; was I crazy about it? No, the Dutch put me off, but it did have a pretty good plot where you had to try and connect all the dots in the same way you did with TOH (though not as well paced) Ohh, I know! Have you read Slaves to the Moon by Skeezon? I read it a while back and really liked it.

So this is a little old, but did you find/do you have the epilogue for the story. I got to the end, and enjoyed the story (especially since it is light on the lemons due to the time period) but was disappointed to read that the epilogue was being donated to fandom for sexual assault awareness(didn't see that compilation in the index) and would be posted after enough time had passed, but that was back in 2011. I will ask over on the 152 thread, but I thought I would ask since it was rec'd here.

My daughter brought two "My Friends" books home from kindergarten today. So I sat down with her and filled the gaps for her.

Her favorite food? chicken fricassee and rice.

I really hate that I'm just learning about this story, In a way it's good because I love her stuff and won't have to wait for updates but I really hate that I know I added her to my authors alert and she was never added... this is a problem that I have with Fanfiction.net.

WOW what a great way to start my day! Lots of HOT RP pics, sadly I can not watch the vid clips at work . You ladies are the best .

So I finished The Real Life of E.A. Masen last night. I so FLOVED that fic, thanks for the Rec ladies .

A f..hawt Edward (nothing new), but also confident and funny, cute and sweet. There's lots of UST, but they don't declare their love from the beginning. It's not angsty and not too fluffy. I enjoy it a lot and I'm halfway through at the moment.
And there's an interesting thing going on with Alice, Rose, Emmett and Jasper. Awesome!

Jasper (yes, it's one of those pesky non-canons) is SO messed up, and I don't understand why Bella stays with him and puts up with it. And then she bugs me too, with her hot and cold routine. I'm halfway through the fic, and they are finally back together, which must mean I still have half a fic of hot and cold, angst for angst's sake, and I'm torn between not wanting to look away, and not wanting to slog through page after page of the same damn thing.

Moved on to The Naked Guy Upstairs but I am coming to the conclusion that in the same way I am not a big fan of romantic comedies in films I'm not that keen of the genre in Fan Fiction...
