This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

I've read Wallbanger as published version and it was good. It is more romantic comedy.

Penalty Shot is more romantic than comedy.

So if you want to laugh more, read Wallbanger.

If you want to swoon more, read Penalty. I had to keep this inner squealing quiet but couldn't stop smiling because of all that sweet love.

But read both!

Is it still 'flouncing' if you just can't be bothered to read the Epi or any out-takes? That is what finally happened with The Senator's Son. Moved on to The Naked Guy Upstairs but I am coming to the conclusion that in the same way I am not a big fan of romantic comedies in films I'm not that keen of the genre in Fan Fiction...

It's You've Got Mail meets Pillow Talk meets...eh, you get the picture. It's the usual ABG yuks and lemons. Playboyward v. Straightlacedella. Love/Hate/Love/Banter. RATED M COS WHY ELSE DO YOU READ FIC, HONESTLY? AH, CANON PAIRINGS

I never quite finished TNGUS and not because it isn't marked complete or wasn't at the time I was reading it. I think I just got a little bored. I think there was some kind of angsty stuff and it annoyed me. So I started reading something else and forgot I was reading it.

Because I rarely actually flounce stories.

I always plan on coming back to finish them someday when I'm in the mood for what annoyed me when I read it.

That's a loaded question.

Edward's Eternal is good enough to write a story in one POV without letting the readers guess about the other POVs. You know what I mean?

So, even without the alternate POVs in Penalty all characters were good enough described that I got to know them. You could feel Edward's love for Bella in Bella's POV, William's coldness, Jake's struggle etc.

Doesn't mean I didn't enjoy reading some parts from Edward's perspectiv

She worked the POVs together in a great way, no boring repetition, but good reflection.
Nothing annoys me more than alternating POVs that are obviously copied and pasted, only changing the pronoms and names...

So , yes, I enjoyed reading them. They were a treat.
But this story would also have been great with only one POV, because it was that well written.

Actually Edward is a manhoor in both Wallbanger and TNGUS if I remember correctly.

I do have a bit of a problem not finishing stories. If they are semi good, I will keep going. But I also get bored easy and if I find myself putting the story down to do other things too often, I will take a break and read something else for a bit. That's when my ability to procrastinate and my lack of memory comes in handy. Also my very crowded kindle.

I don't know how many times I get distracted from what I was reading - good or not - and forget what it was and that I really did want to go back. Sigh....

It's pretty good.

I took a quick break from TNGUS (real quick, as in still open on my iPad beside me!) to read this and I can't make up my mind if this Edward is in fact a pedo?! And if the fact that I floved this very short, touching, well written story means that I would go so far as to forgive Edward even that? A thing that normally makes me want to castrate a person without anaesthetic. Come on? Surely, surely not?. Someone else read this story and tell me I shouldn't be ashamed of myself!

Anchalee, have you read her multi-chap Mirror Mirror? Just wandered what it's like as I really like her writing style...
