This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

Can someone explain to my why everytime I try and insert a youtube video, it only posts as a link, but no-one else seems to have a problem.
What the heck am I doing wrong?

Click the embed button above the reply box and paste the youtube link in there.

In your post, instead of looking like this:

[ url ]http://youtu.be/3yUChHfWLik]Robert Pattinson's Kisses Part 1[ /url ]

it will look like this:

[ embed=425,349 ]http://youtu.be/3yUChHfWLik]Robert Pattinson's Kisses Part 1[ /embed ]

and appear like this:

Thank you ! Usually the link provided on the share part of youtube inserted automatically works. At least on blogger and wordpress. I even tried [youtube] link [/youtube] which is the older bbc code that twilighted.net uses. I tried the embedded, I tried everything.

Went back and edited my post. The key will be if I can remember how to do that here.

It used to work, but then it stopped and after much trial and error I figured out this way.

i am totally sick of lemons; I now don't even skim, I scroll down the page fast until they're over.....I'm reading The Senator's Son by amoredjenaue, mainly because I've just finished The Geheime Vernietiging, which BTW annoyed the hell out of me with the excess lemons and the random Dutch thrown in everywhere; Dutch is not a sexy language, it's not Italian or French, My uncle is Dutch, I've spent many a summer holiday in Rotterdam, so for me having it written in the middle of a love scene has the same effect as picturing Aro Volturi in tighty whiteys Anyway I'm reading another of her fics and if you haven't already read it then...Don't.

EDIT: 'She grabbed her handbag and a blanket out of the back and led me down a small path. We probably only walked about 50 yards when we came to a round clearing. It was obviously a meadow. I could hear a stream in the distance and see the wildflowers swaying in the light breeze.' The Senator's Son by amoredjenaue F**king hell....

I skip a lot of lemons too.

some are just ewwww or I want to read on to see how the plot is...

Many lemons are so generic and I still hate that many writers now try to make every lemon into a BDSM scene, no matter how shy, adorable, broken or just romantic Edward is in that story, he has to be a domineering a s s hole in the bedroom. I don't mind it when it fits the mood, but everytime???

How much do I love it that a non-English speaker is our best SPaG spotter - Anchalee takes the cake for finding the SPaG stuff ups!

It's just that I don't flounce and sometimes read a story just because there are so many funny errors. It's a bit mean when a story is supposed to be drama or angst and I can't stop giggling about the writing.

I so FLOVED that fic, thanks for the Rec ladies

Now I am not sure what to read next. Any Rec's? I want something gripping with a strong bella (like the gravity series). Nothing with them declaring their love with in the first few chapters I would like some UST. Damn, I am picky

I have TGV on my kindle but I am torn if I want to read it or not.
