Well ladies, I'm not going to be around much for the next 10 days or so. Think "Innocents Abroad." Have fun, but not too much. If things go awry with the Index, PM me or leave me replies on the Index thread and I'll fix them when I return.

Enjoy yourself and take care!

Safe travels! Bring us back something nice

I'll take a nice Englishman, preferably a 27 year old actor, if you can find one.

So, I just finished my first RPF (sort of, not really). I read Kat Kennedy's Lost in Meyer and its sequel Lingering in Meyer--basically Lost in Austen but for Twilight. I was surprised I liked it, but could understand how many might not

Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

. I liked the idea of it more than anything. Has anyone else read other fics where someone 'real' ends up in the Twiworld? I only stumbled upon this because someone was searching for it on the 152 thread.

Damn! I wish I thought of that!

It wasn't intentional, even though he swears it was.

What did you cook?

A cooked breakfast as it was his first time staying the whole night, I thought I'd surprise him.

But the sausages, bacon, fried eggs, mushrooms and baked beans weren't cooked properly. But the toast was okay - a little burnt but okay.

Thank you hun.

You can have him if you like - there are days that he annoys the living sh*t out of me and acts like a 5 year old rather than a 25 year old.

Seriously, it took me a lot of bad 'uns before I found him, so I really am lucky - if I do say so myself.

Hi Ladies!!!! I have been M.I.A. for about 2 weeks or so. I have been working crazy-mad overtime at work and when I walk in the door at night I fall face first into my wonderful bed. But with my next vacation coming up in 2 weeks I am scaling back on the overtime.

I have missed you all and haven't had a chance to see everything I've missed around here. I know even though I was uber-busy at work, I still managed to see those delicious Dior-Rob pics thanks to mah Twitter feed...

yum!!

Loopy, ALL men are like that at ANY age, acting immaturely. They can't help it. We superior females just have to face that reality and continue to put up with them. It's the least we can do for the betterment of the human race.

Astro!! Ladies!! You know where to go to for a possible mate! Gene pool certified by Loopy. Just disregard the "acting like a 5 yr old" warning label. Our "inner 11 yr old" will help us deal with that.

Well, the good thing is that she probably avoided having her period for 14 years.

Can I point out something completelly random about Twilight?

Isn't it weird that Forks doesn't have a mayor? There is the sheriff, the doctor, even the minister, but there is no mention of a mayor or some other sort of authority (I'm not from the US, so I don't know how the system works exactly...) Same goes for the school principal. There must be one, right?

Another Dior picture.

Hi girls!

Ok so this maybe a little controversial, but I just finished Dusty and I didn't like it. This story took me so long to read. Longer than EP, all the EP outtakes, the Alec novella, and the EP character interviews put together. It wasn't because of the length either. I just couldn't get into it. You know how sometimes you live for the characters for a while. When you're so engrossed that you're willing to neglect everything for them? Well it didn't happen for me. Put it this way, I got all my washing done, folded and packed away, got caught up on all other housework, was happy to have friends over, got my boys the haircut they so desperately needed and watched some tv - gasp!

It was so. damn. repetitive. Chapter after chapter.

Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

The word love was used 1487 times (yes i checked, dont judge lol) I almost gave up on it but I hoped it would get better and after reading 33 long ass chapters it did. For a short while.

Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

Maybe it's just me.

You're not the only one that didn't like it, I keep hearing of people who keep flouncing it. I didn't even bother to read it because I skimmed some chapters and to me it seemed too angst-y and I don't like angst in every chapter, and you would Imagine that after reading so much it would have a nice HEA.

I almost flounced. I love angst but this wasn't the good kind in my opinion.

Someone here used to LOVE Dusty. I remember the avi but can't remember who it was.

Edit: I think it was Demaris who had the Dusty avi lol
