This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

So, I just finished my first RPF (sort of, not really). I read Kat Kennedy's Lost in Meyer and its sequel Lingering in Meyer--basically Lost in Austen but for Twilight. I was surprised I liked it, but could understand how many might not

What did you cook?

A cooked breakfast as it was his first time staying the whole night, I thought I'd surprise him.

But the sausages, bacon, fried eggs, mushrooms and baked beans weren't cooked properly. But the toast was okay - a little burnt but okay.

Hi Ladies!!!! I have been M.I.A. for about 2 weeks or so. I have been working crazy-mad overtime at work and when I walk in the door at night I fall face first into my wonderful bed. But with my next vacation coming up in 2 weeks I am scaling back on the overtime.

I have missed you all and haven't had a chance to see everything I've missed around here. I know even though I was uber-busy at work, I still managed to see those delicious Dior-Rob pics thanks to mah Twitter feed...

Loopy, ALL men are like that at ANY age, acting immaturely. They can't help it. We superior females just have to face that reality and continue to put up with them. It's the least we can do for the betterment of the human race.

Can I point out something completelly random about Twilight?

Isn't it weird that Forks doesn't have a mayor? There is the sheriff, the doctor, even the minister, but there is no mention of a mayor or some other sort of authority (I'm not from the US, so I don't know how the system works exactly...) Same goes for the school principal. There must be one, right?

Ok so this maybe a little controversial, but I just finished Dusty and I didn't like it. This story took me so long to read. Longer than EP, all the EP outtakes, the Alec novella, and the EP character interviews put together. It wasn't because of the length either. I just couldn't get into it. You know how sometimes you live for the characters for a while. When you're so engrossed that you're willing to neglect everything for them? Well it didn't happen for me. Put it this way, I got all my washing done, folded and packed away, got caught up on all other housework, was happy to have friends over, got my boys the haircut they so desperately needed and watched some tv - gasp!

It was so. damn. repetitive. Chapter after chapter.

The word love was used 1487 times (yes i checked, dont judge lol) I almost gave up on it but I hoped it would get better and after reading 33 long ass chapters it did. For a short while.

You're not the only one that didn't like it, I keep hearing of people who keep flouncing it. I didn't even bother to read it because I skimmed some chapters and to me it seemed too angst-y and I don't like angst in every chapter, and you would Imagine that after reading so much it would have a nice HEA.

You're not the only one that didn't like it, I keep hearing of people who keep flouncing it. I didn't even bother to read it because I skimmed some chapters and to me it seemed too angst-y and I don't like angst in every chapter, and you would Imagine that after reading so much it would have a nice HEA.
