This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general.  But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement. 

Okay, here is a place to discuss what you are reading, ask for recommendations and complain about the writing.

Let's not even get me started on my addiction to the Pretty because it's just gotten completely out of hand this week.

Although I download a lot of stuff? Not all of them are on my TBR list.  My TBR column is a Yes/No, so No is an option.  So download whatever looks interesting, but only but the stuff you actually want to read in the next few months on your TBR list.  Then update it after it gets smaller & add the next group. 

My other though is a rating system - 1 to 10 where 1 is read now and 10 is read never.  Read the 1's, then the 2's, ......  and when you are 80? you can read the 10's  8)  I'm actually thinking about this as I have a number that look interesting, but I don't really want to read it anytime soon...  There's too many in front of it.

That's a good point I have a rating system but only for what I've read (1-5).. so I need another column....if only FFD was working to make my life easier!

Hi.  Just popped my PTS cherry and now I'm skulking the dark alleys of this site looking for... Okaaay, that just sounded really creepy  :-[

Starting over: Hi.  New to the site, but not to fan fiction.  It looks like the Twilightverse is very popular here, so I'll jump in.  I've been reading fan fiction for a long time.  I was actually introduced to the world of fan fiction by my 3rd grade teacher when she gave my class an assignment to re-write or re-tell Charlotte's Web or Bunnicula however we wanted.  I ended up writing a crossover type story of a vamp Wilbur trying to suck Chester dry at the movies.  That assignment made me realize that I like reading so much more than writing. 

I'm not sure if you are fans of Robert Pattinson like a lot of Twilight fic readers are, but he doesn't really do anything for me.  No lynching, please!  I will admit that recently there are pictures where he does look mighty fine and I feel a little like Melissa McCarthy in the gif. 



I've read a lot of Twilight fan fiction over the last 5 or so years.  Some good, some bad and some that are pretty horrible.  I have probably read most of the fan fictions that have been pulled to published when they were wips.  I won't comment on my opinion there because I really like to avoid drama or pushy people who try to harass convince me that my opinion is the wrong one.  Some of my favorite Twilight authors are TheFicChick, Teambella23 (I guess it's MaryElizabeth23 now), pattyrose, purelyamuse, Livie79, LaViePastiche, kharizzmatik, 107yearoldvirgin and Bratty-Vamp.   I will read anything these author write even if it's about water drying up in the desert, because somehow, someway these authors can make that boring scenario into a kick ass story.

Right now I'm reading The Billionaire series by Ava Claire. I really don't like the fact that the books are really really short! But I'm enjoying the story so far :)

Right now I'm reading The Billionaire series by Ava Claire. I really don't like the fact that the books are really really short! But I'm enjoying the story so far :)

That series is precisely the reason why i wanted to merge books. it's 12 parts! loved it!  :)

As for the Fassbender? Full frontal not once but twice! I watched Shame last night for the 4th time....This morning I entered the tube praying "please, please, pretty please!"
OMG,  totally forgot about the second time he got Michael Jnr out - I'm so gonna have to watch Shame again, you know just to check that you are right.  :P :D

Do you have any idea how many chapters there're to come? I started it as WIP and loved it, but RL got in the way and I had to quit. The chapters were too long for reading it as a WIP.

Do you have any idea how many chapters there're to come? I started it as WIP and loved it, but RL got in the way and I had to quit. The chapters were too long for reading it as a WIP.
I've no idea how many chapters are left as it's such a slow burner.
It's one of the few WIP's I'm addicted to and have to read each update and not skim until it's complete.  :D

Last time I went on a tube, I got felt up by some guy with really bad BO and stunk of piss - we were both holding the same pole (not that type of pole) and he kept "accidentally" falling forward and his hands just happen to keep landing on my boobs even though they are small he found them okay and the hubby just kept laughing.  >:( :D

It was a great story.  (We're talking about Confessions After Dark).  It ended well but i could have had more in the middle. Not that the story was lacking in any way but because I reallyliked this dirty talking boy!

Oh, and i finished Dear Mr. masen before this and it was really good. The first time i read great email exchanges like that was in FSoG. Brought back the hotness of Christian to my mind  :love:

Am not too happy with the final choice (it will always be ian or matt for me), but will keep an open mind bec i do love Christian and Anna. I just hope the movie will do justice to their story.
