I flounced The Mighty Storm (dude is in a band, right?) about 25% of the way through (I...um...may have changed it to a twific via Word). It may have been a victim of wrong fic/book, wrong time, I don't know but I was bored with it.

So when you change it to a twific, is it Bella/Edward or Bella/Jasper? 

Agreed, and I should have remembered that and moved in calibre first...but I wasn't thinking and just moved it all willy nilly

And then? When I realized what I did and tried to move the folder back to the original location, Calibre won't recognize that anymore.

Yesterday I uninstalled the software, wanting to just make a clean start and start fresh but.....after I uninstalled and then reinstalled, all of my info for my other library was there and I still couldn't import. So I created a new library, new location, told calibre where to look and added all files that way but now....it's saying there are 3100 duplicates found. So now I'm thinking that Calibre is somehow seeing all of my books and therefore my additions are all dups, but I cannot see them?

I swear to god, the Tech gods are just trying to make me lose my mind. Because at this point, I just have no idea what to do. Uninstalling didn't work...nothing has.

ETA: I cancelled the dup add and now everything is there! I seem to have an extra 200 fics so I'll need to run a dup check and then really go through everything later to be sure but MAYBE I've fixed the issue

Do I remember you guys mentioning that you hang out on Facebook too?   When the site was down the other day I was wondering if there was a backup plan for our "book club" in case the site went down for an extended amount of time.

Have any of you read the followup books for On Dublin Street or The Mighty Storm.   How about the most recent Lux book?   I've got all 3 of those and have been thinking I should start one of them since I liked the ones that went before them A LOT, but I can't seem to bring myself away from my fics lately...

I wouldn't want an open group, as then we might get the crazy lad-*coughb1tchescough* they seem to pick up over there.   One of the reasons I like it here more is because the ladies are so much nicer and, well,grown up.  We can have a disagreement without it getting nasty.  I.e. which is better - clean cut Rob or bearded wonder?

I agree with you about staying away from Drama, with that said I can't see that happening if we make it a private group just for us ( not that you said otherwise Lucy  ).  I mean, since i have been a member of this wonderful group of ladies I can not recall one ounce of "Drama".  We get along great and respect each others opinions and views.

I took the plunge back into Kristen Ashley.  I purposely put it off because the last time I did it, I had to read about 8 of her books before I could make myself stop.  Once I start reading one of her books, I don't want to do anything else until I've finished.  Then I want to read another.  But, as some of her characters say, got sh!t to do!
