This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

I just had the most amazing news! At least for my daughter...

Her most loved Baby Born doll lost his arm a few weeks ago. The doll is way too old for any warranty, so we didn't have much hope to help her there. The "doctor for dolls" couldn't help us, either.

So, I just called the customer service from Zapf (the manufacturers of the doll) and I just wanted to ask for a hint where I could find help or maybe get a spare part...

Well, the nice lady there told me to send them the doll and they will exchange it for a new doll free of charge! You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

They will even send some "dismissal papers" from the doll hospital back!

Baby Born is the reason my niece is weaned! She was 4 and about to start Preschool and would actually reason that "I know I don't need booby, Mummy, but I really want it!" and my sister thought she would be her last and was having separation (and obviously major discipline,

Anyway, my sister told my niece that, if she stopped having booby, Santa would bring her a Baby Born. She never asked for booby again.

Oh - my niece is 16 now. I still think she'd be on the boob if the Baby Born bribe hadn't worked!

This is one of my favorite fics, but you have to go into with the mindset that it is supernatural and alternate universe. I never saw the pictures, and with this fic in particular I didn't try to assign a person to the image the author described.

I'm persevering regardless of extra appendages

. But honestly this is definitely a fic where you have to suspend any previous image you had in your head of what Edward looks like...I mean, even his 'famous' eyes are different....I'm actually enjoy that, I like it when athors mix it up a bit.

I never understood what that negative/positive stat anyway...

Errr? Has PTS ever been down for more than a couple of hours? It's just, well, even if it went down for a day...is the general consensus that one couldn't survive for that length of time..without discussing FFs? I'm just asking because I've been away most of today and I might have missed something...

I'd be ok even if it was down for a day or two, but I was sort of thinking in case there was ever an extended downtime or if it were to ever close without notice. LOL I know, not going to happen, but again... I REALLY like my "book club".

I took the plunge back into Kristen Ashley. I purposely put it off because the last time I did it, I had to read about 8 of her books before I could make myself stop. Once I start reading one of her books, I don't want to do anything else until I've finished. Then I want to read another. But, as some of her characters say, got sh!t to do!

I am still trying to figure out where to start with Kristen Ashley... I think maybe I should read the Dream Man series? I did read Knight and while I liked it, I didn't flove it because of the bit with her calling him daddy! Am I remembering that correctly?

Okay here's something that will probably make you laugh.
The hubby came home last night feeling really horny (nothing new there really) and with Saxon in bed and my daughter at her Dad's we started getting busy in the front room.
We started on the couch and then ended up against our french doors which opens onto our back garden, we must of been a bit more "vigorous" than we thought as we broke one of the french doors and fell into the garden.
The dogs got excited and ran out into the garden and started to lick the hubby's ass, while he was trying to get up and I was just p*ssing myself with laughter as I'm such a supportive wife.

I ended up in hospital and having to stay over night as I got glass in my ass and some in my back.
But me and bump are okay, the Doc just basically told us to be more careful.

So now I have to sit on a rubber ring as I have a pain the ass - literally.

So there you have it: another typical day in the life of me!!

Written in the Stars is one were you have to not think about it as a Twific, just a story that happens to use character names and some characteristics we are familiar with. My husband makes fun of me for reading fan fiction (he thinks its all about sparkly vampires) and this is one fic I have used as an example to show that most of the twilight fan fiction I read has a good original story underneath the use of known characters.
