There is all kinds of drama unfolding over this right now. Twitter, Facebook, gr, Amazon, it's all blowing up.

I went to that chicks fb page....Shey whatever and the fans are all over each other. Sheys supporters are calling anyone who is saying her ‘book' is plagiarized bullies and that the Dusty authors should contact a lawyer instead of bullying. Mary Elizabeth was there for a min until the 'author' blocked her.

I looked at the comparisons and I don't even know how people can deny it's been stolen?

PS. I was on a timeout from the fandom when this went down and I never did hear really anything about this but does anyone know what went down with Angstgoddess? I've always wanted to know but never really had anyone to ask.

And...Demaris is gonna shit when she sees Dusty was plagiarized

Just jumping in here because I have about 10 pages to catch up on and I've been watching this unfold all morning on twitter.

The evidence - as far as I'm concerned is irrefutable - just look at the cover of the book, and compare to Dusty's summary:

She loves him. He loves her crazy. She's a hopeless romantic. He's just hopeless. She's afraid to let go. He won't let her. A story about a silly girl in love with a foolish boy. Here, forever is a lie.

I found a copy of the book - thank goodness I didn't pay for it - and I was curious about the ending...


Or maybe that happens in the F4LLS futuretake - I decided not to read it until part 2 came out - I hope this latest Dusty drama doesn't kill part 2! [/spoiler]

I love a good conspiracy theory - and even though I thought of this all by myself and it's probably already been discussed ad nauseam, but...

What if the Dusty writer that wanted to publish did all this to bring attention to Dusty and back the other one into a corner!

Which one wanted to publish? From the reaction I've seen from Mary Elizabeth on Facebook, it wouldn't be her. I don't know if the other author (Sarah?) Is on Facebook but I haven't seen anything except from Mary Elizabeth. But I'm not following all the different conversations going on about it. I just watched Sheys page for a minute

I was going to say that it was Mary Elizabeth that wanted to publish, but maybe I'm confused - that does happen from time to time.

I'm a terrible gossip! Not that I gossip much - I mean that I'm terrible at it because I seem to miss all the drama and then can't remember what happened anyway! 

Forgive me is this has been mentioned here already, I'm following a lot of threads on this, but I'm also reading that Stahl/jaydmommy's Lapped Traffic also ripped a sex scene out of Hunterhuntings Misapprenshion of Bella Swan. So all SORTS of plagiarism up in there.

Okay I need to bitch for a sec so I can get over this. Someone was looking for a story I remember reading.  I spent a couple hours looking for it. Finally find it & upload the epub version & without a thanks for finding it, someone asks anyone have it in PDF? Really? You can't download & convert it? And really, epubs are readable on everything.  Grrrr.  Why do I bother.

I used to just go there for the recs.  So my lurking.  Though I really like the twi tech page.

It has its uses. I joined the Actorward group there first.  Because I like Actorward best.  Goes with the RPattz love, I suppose. Then it went from there.  But I have no info, I share nothing personal & I have a fake birthday.  So all is good.

You forgot "good riddance"  . Specially to that dumb as fck plagiarist who i hope will never have a writing career . How the hell any reader can still trust her after this fiasco will be a puzzle to me...and to have "fans" supporting her?!? did they ever read/try to compare to make informed decisions?

Ok i've kind of stepped away from fiction for awhile and am ready to get back to reading i'm looking for a few fics that i can no longer find.

1) I think its called Aha Shake where bella is a hand model and Emmet is a chubby chaser

2.) Order of the seers sequel

3) One where bella and edward hunted zombies

4.) The Bitch and the HellCat (this story is freaking awesome and i can not find a completed version anywhere and its been forever and a day, is this on hiatus or something?)

I had these stories saved but my computer crashed and i lost everything so it really sucks that i'm now ready to start reading again and cant.

I hunted around and answered all of the questions for her - I was the ONLY one who replied to her CF - and got nothing back. I hunted up fics, quoted reviews, looked in GR...and not even a "thanks".

So I feel your pain, Ella.

The AG & Icy drama was intense and it looks like there is yet another blow up (in this case fair enough).  I have to say that on some members of the Twi community are right ...... slagging of other each other and authors with real vitriol.  You don't seem to get any of this drama in other of the fandoms. 

The wisest thing I saw today:

I think the focus should now be on reporting her, not going after her.

I agree about the vitriol, but I also saw a comment - perhaps from Mary Elizabeth? - that said the Twifandom is like a big Italian family - we all squabble amongst ourselves, but if someone crosses one of us, they better look out.

I thought that was very accurate.
