This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

I'm loving the pic with him with the cigar - he looks like his Dad in it.

My mum used to get all a-flutter about Clint Eastwood, and we only ever knew him from Dirty Harry. I remember we used to have Saturday Afternoon Matinees on TV and I remember Mum squealing like a fangirl when Paint Your Wagons was on one weekend.

I know! I was in an Adair7 state of mind so I just chomped my way through her whole back catalogue. I've read a few since my ChickFic baptism..but yeah they are not my favourite story structure....in RL I don't like 'short' stores either for the same reasons....

This was a fic I skimmed when it was a WIP as it was so long between updates.

I couldn't read this and flounced. I didn't like the writing.

So 6 pages of skimming told me it's good sometimes that I miss so much because of work. Geez plagiarizing? *facepalm*

GR, I only use it for books I want to read/have read. There are some FF there, but not many. I do leave stars and most of the time reviews to the books I read. I give out very few 5 stars and I have never given a 1 star. I truly follow their rating system.

1 star - I didn't like it
2 star - it was ok (I have several of these)
3 star - I liked it
4 star - I really liked it
5 star - it was amazing

Some 2 stars I didn't comment. Other times, I told what I thought would have improved the book. I have even done this to friends on GR. I have never berated an author. Mama didn't raise me that way.

I am terrible at giving reviews, I admit it. As far as lash out at author's there and goodreads taking down posts, I really don't care. I know several of you hated this, but I want to give you an alternate perspective. One that is true and I know, because it happened to me.

I posted a ff story on GR. One that I love and rated it 5 stars. Others have rated it as well. It's allowed to upload fanfics to the site, if they are completed. I added it to track my progress and to rate it. Someone I don't know was ugly and what they posted was uncalled for and couldn't have been more wrong. I came to the author's defense, who had no idea I posted the story. The reviewing person added it to an ugly named shelf and had stated that FF don't belong there and it was poor taste for the author to put it there to get more hits on their profile.

I ADDED IT. NOT THE AUTHOR.
It is still there, since I DID follow the rules.

People need to learn to get a LIFE.

I hate the 4 yr old mentality of some. I keep hearing childish things they are saying in my head like "mommy he's touching me" which usually sent me into pissy mode. Well not pissy, but my kids learned to shut up and not to antagonize each other.

I guess most don't know the old saying, "Treat others as you want to be treated"

How can anyone say what I like is wrong? It's my opinion ! I think some like to stir things up just to stir, which is sad I guess.

K....my rant is over.

I just want my RobPorn and good stuff to read. Because he is just sooooooooooooooooooooo hhhaaaaawt

hmmmm. I have wanted to try it, but wondered how I would explain the mounting brackets that would stay up. I mean to hold me up as well as a shake and bake activity, I assume it needs to be mounted into ceiling trusses.

I'm slightly squeeked out with that image but not as bad as Edward and Rose.

I remember reading a fic ages ago where Edward was married to Rose but had an affair with Bella but still went back to Rose afterwards.

I only read it as in the summary it said it was a B/E fic.

I'm with you hun - shaven legs on a man is weird. When I went out with a cyclist he shaved his legs when he had races and he even tried to nick my razor once, that was the end of us.
We had nothing in common apart from we both liked to ride and it took me about a week to realize we had very different ideas of what riding meant though.
