It was one of those navel gazing industry dinners that go on forever! I was giddy for something to break up the monotony so thanks for that.  And yes, I have a little bluetooth headphone that fits in my ear the size of the tip of my little finger, I bought it in Japan last year for exactly this purpose...

Has anyone read any baby snatched stories? I just finished Stolen Dreams by Shasta53 which was alright. I do like how everything was handled in a mature manner. Basically Bella had a baby in high school, and drama ensues. Much MUCH better than her other fic The Arranged Marriage, which I thought was a giant mess.

Anyway, I kept having deja vu while reading. Thinking I'd already read something similar. I know there was one I read last year that I have saved somewhere in which either Bella or Tanya is pregnant with twins, and Tanya and her sisters try to disguise the fact, because one of her sisters is an OBGYN and in on the plot, and wanted one of the twins. They were adamant in having a boy for Tanya's lesbian sisters to raise themselves. At the end of the story there was an alternate ending with the baby hand off happening at the airport.

I have read Parachute by KitsuShel, where Bella finds Edward's son and raises him, after he's found wandering around by himself.

There's another pretty popular story I've flounced where Bella and Edward's son is kidnapped, which was a plot set up by Edward's new gf or wife.

I was hoping to get on here yesterday but had to stay in hospital until last night as I had a bit of a reaction to the anaesthesia due to the meds I take, they're not sure if it was the Ritalin or Prozac which caused it and apparently I should of been told not take either for at least 24hrs before my op, either way I'm finally home.
The only good thing about staying hospital for nearly two days was that I managed to read a whole fic ( ) You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login, which was meh!!!
I remember reading the first chapter when it was part of a Bad Boy Comp of FFn. It should of really just stayed a one-shot as it was your normal high school fluff with some pretty crap drama thrown in.

Booked, hun if I had the money I would buy you a ticket so you could come over here as I'm not allowed to do any strenuous exercise or any heavy lifting (which I commented about the hubby's peen to the Dr at this point which he didn't find at all funny) for 3-5 days.
By the end of the weekend my wrist is so gonna need surgery. 

Loopy, I really think he should let you control stuff once in a while. Maybe you won't end up in the ER or whatever they call it  (A&E?) So much.  Good luck with your surgery.

Errrm? Harper Lee is publishing her second novel, Go Set A Watchman...50 years after To Kill A Mockingbird!.....Do you think she ran out of money? 

I'm not too sure how to feel about this as TKAM is one of my all time favourite books, but I think I'm gonna to read a GSAW with the same expectations anyone has when they have sex with anyone new for the first time - with low expectations, so if it's any good you'll have a nice surprise and you'll want to do it again. 

I understand what you all are saying about guys in HS and not having learned the skills to be any good, but I have to say that there are exceptions. My BF in HS was able to control his climax and hold it off. We were each other's firsts and he was seriously packing.  I am lucky that my hubby is just as endowed.

Glad you made it through safely. Though I have to say it is strange they didn't tell you to stop taking the meds. I had a whole thing on all the stuff I had to stop taking 2 weeks/1 week/24 hours before surgery. And I don't really take any prescription stuff. Just vitamins when I remember. 

You should let your husband wait on you for a bit.   

Gosh, horror stories i've heard about not waking up bec of too much anesthesia or bad reaction to it is really quite scary. Am glad it all turned out well for you. 

Your doctor must have a small dick and suffers peen envy hence he couldn't appreciate your joke about lifting heavy and hard weights  ok, i hope you won't be straining your wrist too much. Maybe some grapefruit will help.

On olderwards, i don't mind age gaps (my husband is 7 yrs older than me), but i am a bit put off it's more than 15 years. Don't know why  Good thing i can gloss over those things in my mind and just think they are 10 yrs apart.

Finally downloaded Written in the Stars. Read a few pages and it was very good. I put it aside first as it's 1,700+ pages.

Lol, that's probably true hun - my Dr was a really good looking Aussie so he was probably lacking somewhere. 
I would so go down (pun intended) the grapefruit route but I know the hubby and I'm pretty sure by the end I would be back in hospital with a lovely bloody nose. 

I'm with you hun, I don't have a problem if one or the other is older than the other as long as it's not too icky like a 70 year old Edward dating a late teen/early 20's Bella.

I was watching MM today and it's annoying as I can't any follow through with the hubby for a few days, I should of waited and watched at the w/end as by then it would of been all good.   

I was going to start WitS today but I started Hit by Destiny instead - it's going to take me a while to read as it's over 1100 pages. 
I need to learn how to speed read.

All my pre-op Dr mentioned stopping was any pain meds (which I only take when I really need to) and he didn't see a problem with me continuing to use my other meds but my Dr (who did the op) had a toally different opinion - talk about confuse people. 

As the hubby waits on me most of the time it's just nice that he's taken a few days off and is forcing me to have duvet days on the sofa with the kids while watching DVD's. 

I'm sad to say that for the rest of the month, I can't watch a talk or entertainment show.  I know there are many many people who can't wait to see the FSoG movie, but I am definitely not one of them.  I am SO sick of the references and teasers.  The movie clips are horrible. I  turned on the TODAY show and there was EL James, turned to Access Hollywood only to see clips of the first time seeing the Red Room and "I don't do romance" - both of which looked stupid. I am so sick of the exploitation of this story.

I enjoyed when MotU and fanfiction was a guilty pleasure, but now since FSoG exploded MotU is spoiled for me. I still love my fanfic, but I think 50 made many mediocre Fanfiction writers think they too can make millions like she did.  I also believe since 50 being exposed as starting in fanfic, the Twifanfic world which was already slowing with the end of the movies, slowed even further.

Am I making any sense?

Every time I turn a channel the trailer or something something mentioning FSoG is on, I even turned the radio on earlier as my friends single was going to be played and the DJs were going nuts over the fact there is just over a week to go until it's released. 

Thank god I DVR nearly all my stuff as I just fast forward all the ads and anythig that bores me about it. 
Hopefully once it's released it'll all die down, but from the clips I've seen there's no chemistry and the acting make Twilight look Oscar worthy. 

No chemistry is putting it mildly!  No spark at all, I absolutely hate to say this and will probably have to run and hide for saying it, but Jamie isn't sexy to me in ANY of the clips.  He's a very sexy guy, but it doesn't come across in the movie clips.

I think OBL posted the magazine cover with Jamie and Dakota (or whatever her name is) the other day.  The first thing I thought was that they didn't even have enough chemistry for the magazine cover.  The lack of chemistry has been clear in the movie trailers.
