Normally I'd agree but we like the same sort of films Mark and I, so....He has yet to steer me wrong. And I have to agree with Loopy, Costner hasn't made a decent film in, what? 20 years? I'll pass....

It was a pretty good read I must say and it has a decently written Bella, which is always a plus! 

Jacob and Alice, yeah, that was a really nice change but I'm sure she got stick for that when it was a WIP...from the Purist Brigade  .

Another story being pulled to publish - thought everyone would like to know in case they want to download before it is pulled.

Hello Everyone,

Many of you know that my mother was my roll model for Impact’s Bella.

She lived in our home and relied on my family for around the clock care. Updates and interactions with each of you ebbed and flowed based on the attention she required. In May of last year her health began to decline and she spent a much of her time in and out of the hospital in the following months.

Eight weeks ago her sixty year battle with MS came to an end. I miss her sweet smile and compassionate heart. She was a stellar example of living life to its fullest, despite having limitations resulting from a physical disability. Caring for her was a blessing that I’ll never regret.

Since life has finally settled down, I’ve had some time to go back and read each one of your reviews. So many came in while Mom was ill, my sincere apologies for not having time to read or respond.

I'd like to take a moment to thank each and every one of you who has supported Impact throughout the rewarding journey that began nearly five years ago. You've been so much more than readers and have become so much more than friends.

Impact was a special project for my mother and me. Your, sometimes very personal, accounts about how the story inspired you meant the world to her and we talked a number of times about working to bring the story to a more diverse group of readers outside the Twilight fandom. In order for the promise I made to become a reality, I need to edit Impact and make the appropriate changes so I can offer it to my readers as a work of original fiction.

Impact will remain on this site, in its entirety, until June 1, 2014, but then it will be taken down. Outtakes will continue to post as time permits. I appreciate your understanding and your patience.

The decision to remove Impact from the site where it's been available since 2010 is a bittersweet one, but it was your words of encouragement that have allowed me to believe Impact could be something more.

So, I got a new tablet today. I was looking through the playstore and saw that in the Top Free apps was Wattpad. I've never used wattpad, but I've heard you guys talk about it (or at least mention reading on it). Is it worth checking out? Have any of you used the app? Know anything about it?

Joan Rivers says Kristen Stewart is threatening to sue her for joking that her career success is based on having sex with directors.

The comedian tells TMZ that her new book “Diary of a Mad Diva” has actually led to the actress making a potential legal move against her.

“I’m now being sued by Kristen Stewart,” says Rivers in the video (see below). “She obviously didn’t read our disclaimer, which is it’s a comedy book.”

She jokes, “I can’t wait to get her to court, because I want to get a puppet, and I want her to show me on the puppet where she thinks I claim she touched her director.”

Asked whether she was serious about Stewart threatening legal action, Rivers reveals, “Her lawyer contacted my lawyer, which shows the sense of humor she has… zero.”

The comic can’t believe Stewart took the jab at face value.

“I’m a comedian. I’ve been doing it for 50 years. If people don’t get it… don’t come and see me,” explains Rivers. “It’s OK. Don’t read the book.”

She adds, “If you’re going to take it seriously, you’re a fool.”

Rivers then finished up with a not-so-subtle oral sex joke about Stewart.

Is she self published or did she get a publisher?   Sometimes this pull it all comes from a publisher. I usually give them the benefit of the doubt if they have a publisher.

And truthfully, that story will need some major rewriting as it's really long if I remember correctly. And it's not the type you can break up.

Yes, you either have to search for what you are looking for or save it to your Google drive and sync it to your computer.  Otherwise, it's just a mess. 

I have it all saved on Copy.com which is worse. Can't find anything on it. BUT, it keeps the Calibre setup and I can sync it to my other computer with no problems.

So, you, what? Search by fic name? I couldn't see a search function on the screen.....I wanted to check how many chapters Impact finished at?
