As always it is each to their own but I thought it was a good fic and I have read it a couple of times. I must admit that the last time I skimmed the smexing. I think I am suffering from FF smexing fatigue.
LOL! Yes! The fatigue does set in. I used to switch between romances and mysteries. Now that I read pretty much all fanfics, switching isn't that easy.I may try Tango again. I think I read 2 chapters and it wasn't grabbing me. But then, I'm not a big angst hoor. Actually, I don't mind angst. I just don't like the style of writing used in angsty stories. I always feel like I'm reading something written by a depressed person. Which makes me feel depressed. And I realize from the number of popular books written in that style, there are either a lot of depressed writers out there or other readers don't have the same reaction I have. LOL! Probably the latter.
I'm impressed you got that far already. I though you were reading other stuff. It's harmless and Eve knows that. The further it gets the better. Especially once you get to Loyalty in Death.
Yeah, I started it but was coming across as a little too much PWP for me. We had a discussion here about it and I decided it wasn't my cup of tea. It is based on the movie Last Tango in Paris. So Booked there may be a reason why you haven't read it.

If i recall correctly, it was Astro...
Yep it was...And if that didn't work she had a great recipe for making the whole 'experience' sweeter....She is a font of knowledge that Aussie girl.
Is it? Are you sure? Because I've seen that film and that fic has no similarities Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents. ....or, I must have missed something....
Okay, maybe I'm wrong? I've never seen the movie and I didn't get very far in the fic. I was just going by the comments here. What I've seen of the movie makes me want to run in the other direction. So I guess there's an HEA at the end?
Well, she is in the education business. I hope her trip to the US goes well.BTW, Demaris, besides the butter issue, I think the other similarity to Last Tango in Paris is two strangers having sex in an apartment, maintaining their anonymity even though they're falling in love. Let's see what else I remember from the movie. The man is a damaged character, the girl has a boyfriend...that might be it.
Yeah there's a HEA.....I just, it had such a different feel to the movie I didn't even pick up on the similarities FFG just mentioned; well, the damaged man would defo not have alerted me as Mr Edward is allllllwaaaayyys bloody damaged! And I don't remember much about Bella; nothing new there then! I'll have to re-read now...bloody hell as if I haven't got enough fics to be getting on with...Sorry I can't reply to your post Ruthhazelton, I've only read the first line as you might have been telling me plot points of In death novels I haven't read yet, which is like a kiss of death to a story for me. Sooooo, yeah, I'm not ignoring you, just can't read your post....
LOL! Your idea of a little angst and my idea are vastly different I think. See, my memory sucks for some things but I do tend to remember something about the discussion on that story made me not want to go any further. And it could be the amount of lemons. Don't get me wrong, I like a good lemon. Just not so many. And really? I love UST. That's what will really keep me reading.
Since My Ex Con finished I have read nothing but Harry Potter fics. I find them a refreshing changed from Twilight but I see Onwind is posting a new fic. I like her gentle, slightly off the wall Voturi centric fics.
There were a lot of lemons I remember that much....Errr? Angsty? Nope, can't remember feeling particularly sorrowful when reading it, but yes, that might be my high level angst tolerance
I finally stopped reading Harry Potter fic, for the moment. Instead, I have fallen headlong into Teen Wolf fanfic, reading Sterek (Stiles/Derek) slash. I don't even watch the show, but I'm loving the fics!
